10 Dec 22 Comment Really smart editing ideas, thank you ! I never would have thought to photograph twice for the bee to be in focus on each flower. I like the textured background. I think the only change I would want is to see a little more of each flower -- something that would give space to them. I do like the black and white, I think it looks better than the color images.

10 Dec 22 Comment Well, Carrie, you were between a rock and a hard place with no tripod. I agree that I would like to have seen more of it in focus. It's fun to see the snail so clearly, but I do wish I could see at least the front petal edges in focus, too. But without a tripod you really didn't have much choice. The colors are really nice and I do like what you did with the background.

10 Dec 22 Comment Washington is such a magnificent place. I think this image could have been improved by using a smaller aperture/larger numbered F stop, as so much of it appears soft and there's no real place in sharp focus. The monument appears to tilt slightly to the right, so I would straighten it. I would add texture and some saturation to bring out the clouds more.

If it were my image, I would add texture in LR, and maybe try to saturate it more and get more interesting color in the leaves. Other than that, I like it !

10 Dec 22 Comment I absolutely LOVE this image and I'm going to attempt to do one of these !! So much fun. I usually don't like added borders but in this case I think you needed one. The colors are great, and this image is so clear and crisp. I wouldn't change a thing.
