10 Jan 22 Reply I thought about doing that, but I think it would take away from the fact that it was at an event that's traditional around here. And I wouldn't want him floating in space, because I wouldn't know what kind of background to put him on. What would you suggest? Jan 25th

Yes, I agree about the background. I could have tried a larger aperture, and if we ever have this event again I will do that. I thought the kids in the right background were a problem because they weren't even looking at him. There was a lot going on.

10 Jan 22 Comment I love the texture on the rose, it's really pretty. Your exposure is really good. Did you use your lights, or natural light? And I'd sure love to know how you use gradient filters to create the background, that's new to me !!
I see a few more spots I would want you to remove with the Photoshop bandaid but other than that, it's really nice ! You really got a lot of detail. 		Jan 11th
10 Jan 22 Comment I think it's really cool !! Yes, I can see that you might like something in the middle of the top, but what you did created a really interesting image. I love the sparkling trees and the way the light is streaked. Fun image ! Jan 11th
10 Jan 22 Comment I think it's a nice travel image. But it really doesn't call to me. The left building is so bright, it's blown out. I wonder if you could have taken this image at sunset, or sunrise, it would have been more dramatic. Jan 11th

There are some things I think would have made a stronger image.
The Light is so important, and the light is on the far side of her, and the side we are seeing is in shadow. It would have been great if you could have gotten her from the other side but maybe not possible. The lighting in the background is distracting and I would burn that in. Just so much to look at, I would crop in and make her more the center of attention.
I played around and did some edits, what do you think? 		Jan 11th
