I would add more contrast and crop some off of the top. Take away what doesn't add to the image.

I love the flower, it's beautiful and you captured it really well. What I would like to see different is a background color that's either closer to the color of the flower, or to the flower stem, or a complimentary color such as something in the blue family. The green just doesn't work for me; maybe it just doesn't have enough yellow in it (similar to the stem).

10 Apr 21 Reply I still had bushes on the lower Rt. and on left but I cloned them out pretty easily. One of the tips I got from a "pro" was to watch your borders -- never have anything jutting in from the sides of your image or bottom or top. So I called myself the border patrol agent. LOL Apr 8th
10 Apr 21 Comment I've seen lots of lens baby shots, and a lot of the time I just wish the focus were sharper in the most important part of the image -- here, it would be the center of the flower. Your exposure is great, the color is beautiful, I wish you had been a little further away from the flower. Apr 8th
10 Apr 21 Comment I agree with Lori, do something to get rid of the bushes on both sides. If you know Photoshop, you can use some of the tools to clone them out, crop, whatever. Actually you could even crop off some of the sky. But other than that, it's lovely and a Great reflection.
