10 Feb 20 Reply We stood there for a while, but the birds were just waking up and got a little active. I got a few good shots, then they started doing something funny with their necks, like bobbing up and down, and they flew off. Funny creatures !

10 Feb 20 Comment Jack, I'm not a "judge", but here are my thoughts about your image. I think the colors in the trees are lovely, but I think if you had taken the image from a lower vantage point, the trees would have been behind the structure and wouldn't be competing as much with the building. They'd still be there, but would be in the background. I also think if you had taken this image at a different time of day, the roof and the walkway would not have been so bright, and you would have had more color in the whole building. I think turning it into black and white was a good choice, but I think I would crop of much of the top and just keep most of the trees at top out of the picture. Feb 17th

10 Feb 20 Comment Oh, boy. I don't know what to say about your image. There's so much to look at -- the moon, the milky way, the bridge, the clouds, I don't know where to settle my eyes. With the sky looking so brown, it makes me wonder what your un-edited image looked like. I've done images of the Milky Way and they are very tricky. I guess the part I love most about this is the bridge -- it looks eerie and spooky, with the clouds etc. I imagine you had fun with this one ! Feb 17th
10 Feb 20 Comment I like the textures of this image quite a lot. I would love to see the original image, too. I think I would crop off some of the top (same suggestion you gave me !! ) and give more attention to the building. Feb 17th

I love the lines of this image, it's really fascinating.
I played around with it in Photoshop to add contrast and saturation, and I think I may have overdone it, but you might want to try that. I think the picture just looks a bit hazy and flat. Otherwise, great !		 Feb 17th
