One thing you might want to check is the Brightness of your monitor ! I used to keep mine fairly bright and then my prints were always wrong, so I dropped down the brightness and now my prints come out well. I like your revision !
Try sending some images for printing and compare to your monitor and see if you need to adjust. Just a thought.

It looks like you saturated the sky a lot but I think a layer mask just on the part below the sky would be more effective.
It took me forever to learn how to do a layer mask. You could also put it into Lightroom and play with the highlights and shadows, maybe increase contrast. I'm not sure what programs you use. Let me know, maybe we can talk sometime.

10 Oct 19 Comment Wow, talk about texture !! You really got a lot of texture with your editing. I think it works really well on the ropes and the background looks great -- I just think it's a little too much texture on the hand . But I do like it a lot, Thanks for giving us your recipe for post-processing. Oct 13th
10 Oct 19 Comment I swear I have photographed this exact same farm !! The Palouse can be so pretty in the spring, I've never seen it in the fall.
I would have increased the contrast and saturation, and used a layer mask to deepen the colors of the brown fields. The sky looks great !		 Oct 13th
10 Oct 19 Comment It's nice to see the Chapel on the inside - I've never been there.
I realize you had constraints on what was in the picture and what was "out", but what doesn't work for me is how the arch at the top is cut in the middle -- maybe a wider lens would have worked, or crop down some more. Or maybe if you could have taken the image from a lower viewpoint, showing more of the ceiling -- I don't know, I wasn't there !!

I like the way the petals reach out of the box you surrounded the image with. The blue background is really pretty, too.
