I agree with Alan's comments. A nice shot. Did you use a tripod? If hand held at 300mm well done |

A nice portrait of the subject in academic dress. It is a little soft but that may have been intended.
It looks like a graduated filter has been used to reduce the brightness from the left hand side. This is a nice effect.
Overall this looks like a nice professional portrait. I think this person was probably happy with the result, Well done Joanne. |

Sand dunes make great photo ops. This is a nice representation of what can be achieved. B&W would surely be one way to process the shot, I would be tempted to increase the contrast a little in color or B&W.
This shot has a sort of abstract feel to it because there isn't anything to indicate the scale. I thinks this leaves open more choices in how you process it. |

Very nice image despite the lighting problems. We have quite a few old mills in Missouri and they are a popular venues for photoshoots with members of the St.Louis Camera club, and I share your granddaughter's interest.
The only suggestion I have would be to crop in around the mill which highlights the subject and reduces the distraction of the bare trees in the background, but then you have a completely different scene to the one you probably intended |

Great action shot immediately gets the viewer's attention. PS definitely improved the image, well done. I agree the flying hat really make the scene's action pop. Great shot. |

I like this shot it seems to capture the atmosphere of the scene with all the people in the foreground. Although Stephen's suggestions make some improvement, for me they are not as important as cropping out the external building on the left which i find very distracting. I realise that this upsets the central position of the mosque but even so
i prefer it. Personal taste I suppose but either way you present a nicely captured scene. |
