I agree with Alan's comment about the sky. I don't know this location at all but really like the feeling of large open space it portrays. clearly a wide angle shot i imagine would be even better viewed as a large poster size at full resolution.
Nice one Fred! |

Congrats Alan very well deserved. Panning at just the right speed is not easy. |

Very nice shot of a beautiful building. Interesting lighting. 14-24 lens? and overall a nice capture. I think I'd be tempted to crop off some of the foreground and maybe a little of the sky as shown in attached but otherwise no suggestions for improvement. |

OMG what a contrast in stories for these two ladies,
both clearly intelligent but one overcome by health problems the other overcoming adversity. A combination of tragedy and success that cannot be determined from the photo alone, This photo along with the story may become part of history in a newspaper or someone's scrapbook or family album as a lesson that life can take dramatic turns at any time. Nice submission JoAnne, thank you. |

I like this shot a lot and in my opinion it undeniably
portrays speed. Anyone who's seen a F1 race know these cars are very fast. The directional blurring in the background and in the racetrack foreground caused by panning clearly indicates speed as do the rotating wheels of the car.
The image also has nice coloring and accurate exposure. I think it will be a great competition entry. |
