Great shot of the river and city but I still have to get my head around the fence being in the frame. I see the rest of the group likes it so best you ignore my thoughts. I'm still on a steep learning curve when it comes to art. Some I like some I still have to learn to appreciate. Sorry Fred, no offence intended. |

Nice shot Alan. Sharp, nice depth of field from stacking and the water drops definitely add to the composition.

Very nice capture. The general lighting, the cloudy sky go to make this very nice composition. I understand Larry's point about cropping but for my taste I prefer the original. |

Great shot of a beautiful young lady. I love the expression on her face, disappointed but understanding and seemingly resolute to not let it bother her too much. Nice capture and likely a family favorite for future years events like her graduations, engagement and wedding etc. |

Interesting shot and well seen in the natural light. This something I would probably never have noticed. I agree that he B&W rendition is a good choice and emphasizes the texture in the stone (Granite?) and wood nicely. |

Thanks Alan, you're right these are juvenile bears equivalent to teenagers according to our guide and apparently brother and sister. |

Thanks for you comments Larry. I was about 30 yards away for this shot and I did crop significantly. I agree with your point about gimbal mounts and have had some success using it with my large tripod and 150-600mm Sigma Sports lens for birds in flight. Unfortunately, after months of testing I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease just 2 days before leaving for this trip. The main symptoms for me a inabilty to balance and walk far and slight tremors in hands. So I opted for the lighter package of small tripod and ball head. Not as smooth as the gimbal, but ok under the circumstances. Sadly my body does not respond to the usual PD meds so my doctors are still looking for a solution. Since last year my condition has worsened so I am not able to do much in the way of photo-shoots. Please forgive me for always submitting shots from years past until things improve. I enjoy seeing photos and comments from everyone in the group.
