Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
49 Apr 20 Comment Thank you all for the feedback, it's very helpful. I'm still undecided about the suggested crop. I did think the little twerp walking down the isle should have been further in. That's my kid brother, trust him to mess up my photo! :)
(of course I love him dearly)

49 Apr 20 Comment I like Larry's suggestion too. For me this is another image the evokes peace and calm for the viewer. Apr 19th
49 Apr 20 Comment I've toyed with the idea of getting a fisheye lens. Seems like a lot of fun can be had with one.
I like your shot as is Alan because it emphasizes the fisheye aspects. If you want a technically 'better' shot then cropping helps but for me it loses something. I agree that the positioning of the statue is key in either case. Nicely seen.

49 Apr 20 Comment Yes, great capture Kata. I agree with you on having caution about lightening the bird or background. for my eye it's not needed. The image it tac sharp. The only question is whether to crop and that's just personal taste. Apr 19th
49 Apr 20 Comment Yes, nice image. I agree with Kate on the emotions of peace and calm it provokes. I don't have and suggestions for improvement. Apr 19th
49 Apr 20 Reply Interesting image. I agree with straightening and cropping on the right. Small things that make a worthwhile difference.
Either way you've captured the mood of the current lockdown. Nicely done.
Also reminds me of the song about little boxes on the hillside little boxes made of ticky tacky...

49 Apr 20 Comment I really like this image. If all you want is a photo then I agree with previous suggestions on cropping. However this looks like an image one might see on a greeting card, a thank you note, or similar. In this case one could use the upper left corner for the message. For example put 'Thank You' in the top left corner, keep the postcard landscape aspect ratio and write a detail message on the back, pop it in an envelope and BINGO!
Hallmark watch out.
Either way its a very nice image Cora, well done.
