49 Mar 20 Reply Yes, I completely agree that was a good move. Mar 23rd
49 Mar 20 Comment Another nice image Fred. I agree clouds would be nicer but then it's not as real. I think increasing contrast is the most important for a B&W image.
The image and title made me think though. I wonder if horses experience a feeling of loneliness. Poor fella might have been really scared. From this point of view, evoking emotion in the viewer, I think it's a great image as presented.

49 Mar 20 Comment Yes, I too like the drama of this shot. I'm torn between the original and the edit. The first is more dramatic but the final shows more of the internal detail.
Any evidence of Jesse James dropping by? :)

49 Mar 20 Comment I agree with Alan, great photo perfectly timed shot. Well done! Mar 23rd
49 Mar 20 Comment I like the depth displayed in this image. I think Larry Treadwell is right in suggesting Lightroom for editing. I would be tempted to increase clarity and dehaze a bit as long as it didn't make the image look unreal or too saturated. Mar 23rd
49 Mar 20 Comment Alan and Fred, thank you too for the encouraging comments. I'll submit for competition when a suitable category comes up and let you know if it ranks anywhere. Mar 23rd
49 Mar 20 Reply Thanks for the encouragement Beverley and I like you suggested edit. Mar 23rd
49 Mar 20 Comment I think this image was well seen and captured thru a bus window.
the green didn't bother me until I saw Stuart Caine's edits which offer an alternative which I also like. Now I can't decide which I like best! I think it's a matter of personal taste. Which one looks most like the original scene?
