This is the version from my daughter. I forgot to pass her the three raw HDR images. She just worked on from one image. She also loves photography and is a senior at Stanford. Please comment if you have time. Her is color photo. |

I love Canadian Rockies. This beautiful shot brings back good memories. I love your color tune although the yellow grass may not the true color. The pine trees on both sides reveal the grand of the scenery but it also make the presentation a bit busy. I don't know if making the center more focused is a better option. |

It's so beautiful. Love the scenery and the color tune. The front left hill seems dominate the photo. I prefer to reduce it.

It is amazing. It needs attention to find out horizon, cool. I don't know if stronger color makes it more attractive. Such a delicate piece, I would make it symmetric up and down, for both pattern and color tune. Maybe increase contrast for the shadow.

It's a powerful presentation. Being there to enjoy the milkyway is always surreal. I like to emphasis the milkyway and make front subject smaller unless the subject is a well known landmark. |

I love everything in this presentation. It brings me to the spot of dynamic nature. The front grass and back hilltop frame the middle action, that lead my eye to the main story. The dust enhances the action. |

Definitely the sun spot is too bright. Sometime I use brush to select the area to reduce the highlight. I should do that here. Great point! Here is another photo I took at the same time but on the other side. The sun left a whole just to bright the city of San Diego. |

Hi Stephen, The original does not look good in color and I am learning the conversion to B&W. This is generated from HDR of three shots of 2 stops between. |
