Hi Frans. A really peaceful scene giving the viewer an insight into Indonesia. It was an early rise for a beautiful shot. You have done well to get the mist and the lovely sunrise colours. The contours in the hills add to the scene.Well Done Glenn |

Hi Todd. You have achieved what you set out to do and make the tree stand out by saturating and darkening the background. Well spotted and you have portrayed a pleasing image to the eye. I particularly like the shades of yellow in the branches.I have taken your image a step further, hopefully successfully and cropped to 16:9 and also applied auto Tone, Contrast and Colour. I have also added a vignette.I like the textures in the rocks. Cheers Glenn |

Hi Judy. You have produced some appealing patterns with this image. The contrast of triangles in the white and squares in the blue are well seen. The contrasting colours of blue and white are also attractive. I like how you are looking for somthing different to shoot. Keep looking. Cheers Glenn |

Hi Pierre. You have certainly captured a peaceful scene. We very rarely see this environment in Aus. Like the lines that the branches make as they reach up and out of the image. The little brown twig at the bottom is a little distracting and could be easily removed. Your image is close to a mono image and this would be my only suggestion but you do lose the nice blue. You have achieved what you set out to do. Cheers Glenn |

Lamar, this is a wonderful autumn(Fall) scene. There is a nice balance between the bright autumn colours and the darker foreground. The people add to the story and add perspective to the scene. The walkway with its railings leads the viewer into the scene. The only suggestion is trying a little lens correction to straighten the walkway. I was distracted by the little yellow sign at first but realised it adds to the story and emphasised the fact that the walkway is really curved as it passes through the forest. A thoughtful image having me ask, " What is further on? " Cheers Glenn |
