Hi Pierre. A beautiful panorama which evokes in me feelings of calm and cold. My eye went straight to the sun starburst; well shot. Sometimes producing a starburst is not an easy thing to do and you have done well. The fog is telling the story of a chilly morning in this beautiful scene. The little bridge on the right adds interest. I feel as if I should be walking across the bridge to search for the wildlife in the fog. An extremely peaceful scene. Well Done. Cheers Glenn |

Hi Frans. To my eye this is a great shot of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. You have emphasized the bridge's redness which is very pleasing. There has been some discussion about the space on the right but I think this adds to the story and gives the bridge a little room to breathe. You have handled the foreground well and the colourful flowers add to the overall scene. The position of the boat is perfect. I also like how you have removed the distracting fence. Well Done. Hi Judy. A well seen image. You have handled the sunrise well and made the image "pop". Your image is all about the lines of the shore leading the viewers eye to the chimney. A very peaceful scene. Well Done. Cheers Glenn |

Hi Kathryn. The colours in this image really catch the eye. I love the colours and shapes in the umbrellas. The edges of the buildings really lead the viewer into the scene. The people add to the story. The paved walkway/road add interest in the foreground. There is a lot going on in this image and after the buildings led me in I wanted to explore the buildings. Like Frans my only criticism is the leaning buildings and this can easily be fixed in Lens Correction.Cheers Glenn |

Hi Todd. This image for me has the WOW! factor. The hero in this shot is the sky with the streaky clouds and you have handled it extremely well. Your conversion to mono is great. I was a bit distracted by the little rock in the centre so cloned it out. As the clouds are the main focal point I have cropped off the bottom. Maybe you won't agree. A personal choice. A wonderful image with impact. Cheers Glenn |

Hi Lamar. What a wonderful tree. I really like the lines the branches portray. Really unusual. Bit undecided about the people but I agree they give the scene perspective.I also like the texture of leaf litter and the branch which is leading the viewer into the scene.I would suggest a crop off the bottom, perhaps you would disagree. This crop retains the leaf litter and the foreground branch. What do you think? Cheers Glenn |
