Well done Frans. A great city landscape. There is a lot to like about this shot. Using F/18 to get the star bursts on the lights and slow shutter to get the tail light really add to the image. To me the red curved lights on the Automotive Museum really make this shot. The vertical lines on the left are the only distraction to me. These are able to be cloned out easily. When travelling in a group it is hard to get the shot you want Judy. A lovely rural scene with the horses and rainbow. I would leave the posts in as they add to the scene. I tried a number of alternatives but the I couldn't get the little pony more room.My lack of knowledge with photoshop. This is the only drawback and I feel there isn't much that can be done about it. Your second attempt is an improvement. All the elements are there except a little breathing space for the pony. Cheers Glenn |

A very nice scene Charles and as you have stated the only distraction is the leaning trees on the right. I think Judy has done a great job straightening them and although losing a little of the waterfall it is much improved. A very nice shot.I would love to walk under the falls. Cheers Glenn |

A well captured sunrise. Not too sure about the tree. Seems you have added it as an afterthought. To me it seems to fight with the sun and the reflection. Would have rather liked to have seen a boat or a jetty but at times you can only work with what is in front of you. I can understand your thinking, you needed something to balance the sun and the reflection. Quite peaceful. Cheers Glenn |

A great attempt at infrared photography. I know little about infrared but this one is pleasing to the eye. I like how the lines are converging to the trees and you are right about the palm leaves creating a focal point and attracting the eye. A very pleasing shot. Well Done. Cheers Glenn |
