Thanks Frans for the positive comments. By Utube I meant Youtube. Just Google Calvin Hollywood and a number of movies will come up. Look for the one called " Freaky Amazing Details". Very Informative. Cheers Glenn. |

I agree there can be many interest areas in an image. My eye went straight to the cow looking at the lens and then I started looking around. The cows have impressive horns.I would have cropped down to just above the tree line. The flying bird does little for the image.I would also clone the obscured cows leg and horn. The cattle egrets scattered around create interest. We have them in Australia.Cheers Glenn |

Once again you are telling a story Charles and you have succeeded. The story here is old verses new technology.I don't think I would have cropped but the suggestion of a vignette is a good one.I'm not too sure if this fits the landscape genre but feel it is leaning more towards street photography. But you have succeeded in getting your message across. Well Done. |

Great shot Pierre. I certainly don't see anything like this in Australia.Love the leading lines of the rails heading to the horizon. The foreground is magnificent with the icy posts and icy wire in your face. The colour certainly is winter. Creates a really cold feeling.I agree with Judy and would crop just above the horizon, your eye would then follow the path even more to the lovely rays just above the horizon. The sky is a little blown out for my liking. Love this image. I keep looking to see where the track is heading. Cheers Glenn |

A lovely moody seascape before the sunrise.Love the texture in the clouds. My eye went straight to the horizon and clouds then the rocks. Like the soft water around the rocks. Did you use a filter or was it dark enough to slow the shutter speed? My kind of shot. Well Done. Only thing I would do is remove the rock on the right. Personal choice but I find it a little distracting. I like to check all edges to see if anything needs to be cloned out.Well composed image. Cheers Glenn |
