I cropped some and then used content aware fill to remove the rest of the tree but I am not whether or not some of the tree should remain since now there is some empty space that does not match whats on the right edge??

I like this images but I agree it would have been nice to see the road go further into the distance. And thanks for sparing us a shot made in the slot canyon. :)

I agree with others comments about giving the image a little more breathing room so to speak.

The calf's blurred face was distracting to me at first but got less so as I kept looking at the image. I do really like the blur of the horses head and neck.

I agree with Frans in that the tree on the left makes the image a little off balanced but I am not sure how much I would crop out. If it were mine I would resist cropping out the boats on the left along with the tree. |

Nice image. I have photographed the chapel ruins a number of time but never from the back. I like this view much better.

You know I kind of like what you did to the image.

Thanks for the suggestions.
The "silo" is and is not my subjected. As I noted in the beginning I am calling the images in the project "Siloscapes" with the intent to keep a lot of what you would see from the road as you pass by. I want them to be more like environmental portraits of silos so to speak.

Thanks for the comments Pierre:
Points 3, 4 and 5 are probably related to the use of NIK plug-in presets which I noted to have been used. The treatment may not be appealing to some eyes but it seems a bit more pronounced as posted here than it does on my monitor.
Point #2 is well taken. I should have zapped those dirt spots as I had 3 others. However, I do not own an interchangeable lens mirrorless camera. The Sony a99ii that I use has a mirror. |
