Thank you very much for the suggestions.
I did a thorough cleaning of the sensors so that there will be less work in the long run.
There is a group of people who keep tiny frogs from around the world. They go around and show the frogs as models for photographers. The fee is not cheap ( $195 CAD ) but it is still cheaper than flying over to Costa Rica etc to find them.
They keep hundreds of frogs . It must take quite a few keepers and expensive to feed them too. |

Great texture .
I like my image brighter also but if you have to choose between the black and blue background I would choose the black.
It seems to be the same mood as the subject.
Of course there is no right or wrong, just artistic choices.

I envy you for seeing such beauty in our snow covered winter.
Love the rich color and alternate view of the back of the bloom. I like this view very much too.
The depth of field is fine for me.
When I made my first focus stacked bloom a very good friend of mine said that it is a specimen piece. The shallower depth of field looks more artsy to me.
The natural rain drop really enhance the look too. |

Love the yellow mushroom.
I think that the background is just right in tone.
There is no right or wrong in what the background should look like. It is the matter of artistic choices. The background as is look more natural but a darker background is a more artsy choice.
Like the leading line created by the wood at the base and the little ( acorn ? )
The stem of the mushroom is in the right third so it is a good position. Another thought would be to crop the top down a bit so that the top part of the mushroom cap touch the intersection of the third lines.
I really enjoy seeing the detail of the yellow fungus.

I like the face of the cow which is in very sharp focus.
The focus stacking work really well here.
There was a product call " End Dust" that I used to polish furniture with. Just search for it and it seems to be still available.
Charles gave the whole group informations about focus stacking 2 years ago ? and had work really well for me.
Peter, if you like to have them I am sure that Charles can give them to you . I should still have them in my email if I search hard enough.
Peter, I really like the edit you came up with.
It looks like the cow is travelling on a highway at night.
Very interesting effect. |

I like the composition the way it is.
Rules are just suggestions and do not need to be follow all the time.
The monochrome version definitely show the intention of the image more.
Blue can become brighter or darker in monochrome; the darker tone that the blue became detract attention .
The tall bridge posts creates a mood that would be lost if it get crop.
The monochrome version is definitely my favorite. |

Great capture of children and their love of water.
Personally I would keep the other water spray in the image because the child is facing that way a bit and I feel that it add to the story. Of course this is only another view point.
There is no right or wrong because it is an artistic choice. |

I like the angle that show the line of woods being chopped.
After Arne's cropping the image is in balacne with the 2 main participants and activities. |
