A very creative a job! I wonder if it could be better if we frame it as the new photo bellow rather than with multi-colored strokes. |

This is a very beautiful photo, and each one of the nine umbrellas is excellent with beautiful colors! Could it be better if we focus on one of the colorful umbrella with highest sharpness, and keep the other eight umbrellas blurred? Best wishes, Tianji |

Joan, I like your marvelous job in terms of Sharpness and colorful. Also agree with George and LuAnn that the subject of this photo would stand out better without the green leaf. |

I would agree with LuAnn that if it is black-and-white the subject of this photo will be stand out better . |

LuAnn, I think you did a marvelous job in terms of comparison between the sharpness of the boat and the blurred background. I totally agree with George's commend that it would have been much better if the canoe is not going out of the picture instead of into it. |

Thank you so much for your excellent comment, both LuAnn and George! Yes, " what is the subject?" This is the fundamental question that I should ask myself each time before I take or PS a photo from now on. Your comment means so much to me, and I truly appreciate it ! |
