The only thing I would do is change the darkness and tone level on the two rocks on the right just to break up the sameness of tone throughout. Bump up there blueness slightly. It will play off the orange. The two rocks would frame the spider and bring more attention to it. I had the same issue with a fox kit at its burrow. The warm red earth color was that of the fox. I handled the image differently, but just one thing changing makes a huge difference in how well a subject stands out in an image. |

Nice background, and I really like the look-back. Branch removal was a bonus for the final shot. |

Next year it will have another drop tine on the other side. Many times this is a hereditary condition. Sometimes it happens from an injury while in velvet. Thank you. |

teleconverter. Makes my 300mm become 510mm on a full frame camera. |

No filter and minimal processing. I lowered exposure a little to bring down the white of the snow. The green is the vegetation with the frost. Just my 300mm f2.8 lens with the 1.7tc. They make a nice sharp combo. |

I found the file too small to review. |

Very nice find. I think I would recover some additional shadows and sharpen the bison a bit. |

This is a very nice capture Brenda. I would do a few things to it like sharpen it more and selectively burn areas to bring out the cat a bit more from the background. |

Very nicely done. My only suggestion would be to have just a bit more space in front of the bird. |

Yes, I did know his legs were all not showing. There was no way to change position for another POV. |

Foreground is done well (I would darken it some though), background is interesting and colorful, composition is done nicely and the deer is framed well. The alert posture is engaging. My only comment would be the stick across the neck is distracting. In fact, I would clone out those dead branches. |

Nice bokeh in the shot. Exposure is good. the bird is looking slightly into the frame, giving a composition to the right. It looks like you caught focus on the front claw of the foot of the woodpecker. It looks like you were very close at f10 also. The out of focus branches are a bit of a distraction. |

This has a very painterly appeal, part in that you used f2.8 ? I question that in the 18-400 is a f3.5-6.3 lens to my understanding. ISO at 125 is very good for landscapes. What shutter speed were you using? The lighting is a bit flat, but you achieved nice colors. |
