Great interaction, but they appear a bit blown out. The beak of the one on the left gets lost too. |

Lovely capture. Maybe vignette a bit more on the left side. |

I think I like the original orientation and tonal values better. Otherwise a nice shot.

Really a nice shot, but the blue is a bit too unnatural looking.

Very sharp and detailed. What I find a little distracting is the dark plant or whatever it is behind the cheetah. I very much like the cat is on an angle or hill. It makes the image a bit more dynamic. |

Nice framing, excellent placement of the subject on a diagonal, lines of the plant are red (the strongest in weight of colors) and lead to the subject, the red color picked up in the bulbul. Great use of warm and cool colors, as per color theory. You have two of the three primary colors most evident and in close proximity. The eye is well shown in brightness. I would brighten the bulbul though, it is a bit too dark in tone. |

Your hook is the fish being eaten and is very sharp and well defined. I really like the smooth background and water drips and ripples. I like the composition and the focus on the eye which is sufficiently bright and sharp. For having to be rushed for your shot, you did great making the right decisions. |

Hi Pierre. I do like the pose since it shows the action of preening feathers. The background is light, mottled and distracting. The white highlights through the leaves are drawing the eye away from the subject. Your hawk is framed by the tree nicely, and tones are even and nice on the tree itself. I do wish the background was not so busy. I would brighten the eye too. It is the target of the shot. |
