This is a fine image Debbie and the blue toning suits it. You mention that you like the outside trees and their reflections on the floor. Perhaps cropping the ceiling off below the ceiling light and a good amount off the left side, to really show us the trees could assist. |

Very well done Nelson. I enjoy all the delicacy of the rose, you have presented that very well, but I do agree with Stuart. I would like to see it behind the bottom of the rose as well. |

A very strong image Tatu. I have nothing further to add that is not already said by the others. |

I'm going to offer my thoughts Lauren, and please understand, they are just my thoughts. Is all the foliage in the foreground necessary for this image? Would the image be any less without it? Was there anything above the image area forbidding you from showing more of the sky? All I have done is crop it into a pano. None of my thoughts are intended to lessen your image, nor contradict any o comments from other group members. I'm just offering something different. |

The person who introduced me to IR photography was a professor of fine art photography. The first time I saw his work was 50% landscapes and 50% portraits. The portraits were absolutely stunning. The IR effect on skin tones was magical. |

Well done Stuart, my love affair with IR began back in the days of Kodak IR film, complete with all its grain. This is a great example of images from those times. You used all the required IR elements before you to good effect. |

A wonderful image Peter, everything I would expect to see in a Japanese garden setting. Autumn colours, pagoda and a woman with a parasol on a bridge above water. I wonder if she was with you and agreed to model for you, or if she was another visitor who just happened to stand the right way, in the right place at the right time. Just a tiny issue and of no real consequence. |

A very interesting and somewhat creative image Ahmed. A very different presentation of an image that I imagine has been shot many times over in a "normal" way. Congratulations on going against the usual and presenting us with something very different. |

A strong image Dave. While I'm down here in our summer, it shows me what it's like up there in your winter. You should be very pleased with this one, but I'm still going to the beach tomorrow. |

This is a great image Butch, loads of impact, visually and actually. Your converting it to B&W is a good move as it removes all the distracting colour and forces us to concentrate on the lightning itself. You really should be pleased with this one and not refer to it as a sh#t image, you're being too hard on yourself. Hahaha. |

This is an outstanding image Gary. The depth you have provided by use of foreground, background and the valley (gorge) leading us in is very strong. Sharpness from the nearest foreground to the very distant ranges and clouds is also very strong. I particularly like your time of day, which has the right amount of shadow on the left of the image, while also lighting up the colours on the right side. Very well done. |

I'm forever the rebel. I don't mind the clouds at all Sherry. While the grass in the foreground gives this image a base to sit on, I feel the clouds provide a ceiling and help stop our eyes going out the top. They also help bring some depth into this image. That's what I love about our photography, we can all see things differently. Sharpness throughout is good and your use of colours before you at the time is also very strong. The sense of a barren landscape and solitude is strong. |

A superb image Gordon, from capture, through processing and to presentation. You've done a fair amount of work on this one and it has produced a great final image. Your balancing the foreground colours and bringing some detail back to the sky, without loosing any of the mood of the mist on the river is very effective. |

I'm glad you're there Jay and I'm not. I just can't imagine temperatures that produce scenes like this one. Your image is well seen and captured. I agree with your cropping out some of the distracting elements around the top of the image, in my mind they serve no real purpose to this image. For me, it's all about the cold temperature and ice hanging off the traffic lights. A great job Jay. |

A great image Sanford. Well captured and very well processed to bring out the shadow detail and reveal the person sitting down. A good story telling image making it very clear what young Cuban males get up to on a beach at sunset. |

A stunning image Sophie. Your composition, use of elements in the frame and low angle of view all work together to make this an outstanding image. Your processing and presenting it to us with a sepia tone is great. Bravo Sophie. |
