A fine image Ahmed. The composition and story here are good, but in my humble opinion, the light is a bit flat, possibly due to the apparent overcast conditions at the time of capture. I hope you don't mind, but I had a little play in PS with it. I just increased the brightness and contrast a little and then added some tonal contrast in NIK to lift the colours of the ground a little, while trying to leave the sky untouched. This is just my thinking and not meant to detract from your image at all. |

A superb image Gary. B&W does suit it very well. I enjoy the juxtaposition of the clouds. Your main cloud has a good sense of movement, while the ones to the right "appear" more stationary. To me, that makes a viewer stop, look and ask, rather than just walk on by. |

Congratulations on another stunning image Peter. When I first saw it, I had a little bit of a head spin, but then there is so much to look at and take in. All the details and colours of the apartments (down here we call them units). I'm going to be a bit of a rebel again, I don't mind that bit of cloud. We are so used to seeing clouds in the sky, that they are fully expected. It doesn't bother me at all. That's the great thing about our craft of photography, we can all look at things differently. |

A great cityscape Sherry. Good composition and use of foreground and background elements to bring depth into this one. I hope you don't mind, but I had a little play with it too. I went to my old favorite Tonal Contrast in Nik, to give the tree foliage and buildings a little "pop". The sky went for that ride as well, and I'm not so sure about that part. When I threw it into PS, I grabbed Butch's version, by mistake instead of yours. Sorry guys. |

A great image Butch and thinking on your feet then shooting quickly are signs of a thinking photographer, rather than just a point and clicker. All the compositional elements work together and I agree with Sherry, some minor tweaks to the bright spots would improve this image greatly. Your processing skills will surely handle that. And while you say you had to race 30 yards to get this one, I prefer to look on the positive side, at least you didn't have to race 130 yards. |
