A stunning image Janos. I acknowledge what Sherry has said about a possible pano crop, but I also enjoy this image just the way you have presented it. I firmly believe that an image can be found within an image and Sherry's comment alludes to this. Very well done indeed. |

Congratulations on a simply stunning image Nock. As you know, Machu Picchu and the Sydney Opera House have something in common, tourists. Absolutely impossible to get a photo of either one, without an army of people in the shot. So you must go with what you get. Same for weather conditions. My one question is what if you took the "red" out of the image. Those two people would still be there for scale but their bright coats would disappear, as would all those others further into the image. And there is nothing else that is red to worry about. Oh, one other question, what color was your coat? |

Camera vs iPhone??? Does it really matter? I prefer a camera every time, but with this one Sherry you are making me think twice. Composition, color, dof, I love every thing about this one. Very well done and presented Sherry. |

Thanks Jay. On the night I took about 15 photos in total, but this one was the best by far. Just pure luck that I had the camera open in the right direction at the right time. And yes, everything stayed dry. |

A wonderful image Sanford. B&W does really suit this type of subject and you have produced a great image. I acknowledge Cyndy's liking of your shadow, but I always hate getting my shadow in images. By the way, yesterday I came back from a long weekend away with my camera club to the NSW country town of Orange. Watch this space. You & I are often on the same photographic wavelength. |

As you said Trey, red, flames and a chrome engine stack always look good. I agree with Cyndy, your cropping has removed all the extraneous un-necessary elements from the original and highlighted your main subject matter. Very well done indeed. |

Simply superb image Cyndy. Your processing and presentation of this one has taken the original from a great floral image, and produced a very special final image with loads of "romance". Red and green subject against a black background works beautifully. A simple uncluttered, but superb image. Hang this one on your wall please. |

A fine image Tyler. If you open up the image on your computer, "right" mouse click on it, then click properties, then details, you will see all capture details. I tried from here, but it wouldn't give me the details. But back to your photo. Why am I seeing a line across the top and also a change in blue sky tone? Compositionally this is a strong image with good depth of field and sense of location, as mentioned by the others. You should be proud of this one Tyler. |

Our art that we call photography is a wonderful thing. With this image of yours Jorn, I really enjoy the minimalistic approach. B&W removes a lot of "color distraction" and makes us focus on the lone gull. The grain helps promote a harsh environment. No one is correct with our comments and we can discuss many aspects of any image for as long as we want, but in the end it is up to the individual photographer. I fully acknowledge what the others have said and yes, having the gull on the vertical third may be good, but respect to Trey, placing the horizon in the center or so close to it does not work for me. I prefer to see more empty sky to show a possible barren environment. You have presented a very strong image Jorn, very well done. |

A great image Jay, colorful, good detail and perspective, with great in your face impact. We sometimes see this style when looking up at trees, or "normal" buildings, but your doing it with this mural has produced a stand out image. As Cyndy says Good PP work. |

Thanks Trey, as I mentioned to Cyndy, I will re-visit this one and have a look at toning down that corner. |

Thanks Sanford, I must admit that my mischievous sense of humor comes when someone asks "How did you do that?" And I reply "I tell you what, I had to be quick!" |

Thanks for your thoughts Cyndy. I appreciate your thoughts and comments about the lower right corner, but I also like to think having the beach there, it gives a sense of location. But I will re-visit this one and bring the sand's brightness down a touch. |
