Wonderful image Tuhin. For me, viewing an image is all about that, viewing the image. 1 shot or 101 shots blended together, so what? Some people may think differently, but I think it is all about the image, not too much emphasis should be put on the process. Yellowstone is one place I would love to go and see, perhaps one day. Your combining astro and landscape here is very effective. Noise yes, but at ISO 8000 that is to be fully expected. Congratulations on being there at 3.45am, you have an image all others wish they could get. |

Superb composition and time of day Peter. Your construction of this image is top class. Wildflowers in the foreground with sun setting in the background give good depth. Not all photos have to be without blur. Winds do blow and cause flowers and trees to bend, that's all part of our environments. So the flowers and tree bending, for me, add to this image. And the birds having their final fly at days end before nesting is a very nice element in the image. I hope you thanked them. |

Wonderful shot Sherry. My initial thought was "Since when does a bridge in the USA only have 2 cars & 3 people on it?" But the title answers that. Yes I agree, the composition is perfect. |

Great pano David!!! I love the colors, the balance and the way just some of the buildings are being sunlit. Great time of day. My only concern is that dust spot on the left, midway between the leftmost building and the edge of the frame. |

Thank you Jorn. I took many photos on this occasion and am currently processing them, trying to make them all a little different and individual. |

Thank you Sandford. I and a friend are still hoping to catch some really big waves crashing on our Sydney coast during a storm. They can be quite spectacular. |

Attached you will see the image cropped. Jørn Erik is now "missing" part of his left arm but I don't think it is of any importance. This from Jorn.
As can be seen in the original main image, there was not a lot of Jorn's arm visible in the first place. So cropping in like this has removed all of the distracting white plastic, but not made all that much difference to his arm. Overall, I think this edited version makes for a stranger image. What do others think?

Thanks Cyndy, This was a great weekend away with good friends and we all came away with bags of images. I'm now playing with the processing part and trying to make each one a little different. You should see one I gave some HDR treatment called "sinister" to. Same rocks, different wave. Maybe next month |

Thanks Jay. I was hoping to catch some waves at their peaks. This is one I'm happy with. I took a series of images at this moment and have been playing with processing and stopping at different levels and effects. |

Thanks Trey. Yes, the blue sky is not as natural as it was, but I wanted to bring out the detail in the crashing wave, as well as making the rocks a little darker. The sky just went along for the ride. |

Your treatment of this image Sanford is brilliant. Transformed from the image completely. Waiting for a person to walk into the scene has paid off. the light, and our attention are on her. Reclaiming the verticals on the left, loosing that un-necessary piece of white ceiling is great. The architecture and the blue sky outside are also first rate. Very well done. Image of the month (depending on what Tyler submits). |

It's great to see your project continuing Jorn. However, when I look at the bronze statue, I see a "clean" image, with no distracting clutter. With your portrait, I see a large piece of white plastic in the foreground. As this is the closest thing to the camera, to me it is an un-necessary distraction. Perhaps you have another image taken from slightly to your right as we look at this one. Or alternatively, a amount of cropping could make a difference. |

A great shot Trey and up to your usual level of processing. The vintage of the cars and the sawmill really complement each other well. Just a small comment, but that's my job, I would like to see a little more room behind the black car, similar to the room in front of the red one, just to center them and give a little balance. And if you crop off that shadow in the bottom, I get a feeling that I'm a little closer to the cars. Just thinking out loud. Still a great image. |

A great final image Jay. Walking around the streets we are often forced to photograph scenes as they present themselves to us. As you say that you wanted to exclude the woman and the barrel, that will automatically limit the end preferred result. Square photos are fine. Have a look through any magazine and you will see a great number of them. Yes, some subjects are well suited to a square, but in this case, the format definitely does not detract from your final image. Great work. |

A superb portrait of an animal at rest, enjoying some sunshine. I really like your processing which has darkened the background and made the ocelot stand out more. The sharpness of the coat and face are also fantastic. Very well done indeed Cyndy. |
