Yes Peter, as mentioned by the others, this is a stunner. The 6 minute exposure has made those clouds look like the base of a waterfall. A friend of mine down here is always telling the value of "pre-visualizing" an image and then just setting about producing it. You have done this superbly. |

Great image Steven. So much to look at and appreciate in this one. Good focusing throughout, from bottom right to the top. And great use of the reflection. Well done. |

Tuhin, this image just has to be in the top 1% of images made with a fisheye lens I have ever seen !!! The composition and balance is superb. The way you have allowed the verticals of the buildings to bend, while keeping the horizontal line of the far end of the sunken part of the monument "adequately" level given the fisheye, is brilliant. The leading lines in the bottom corners give this image great depth, lead the viewer's eye to the center base of the outer buildings, and in turn, their curvature force the eye back up to the top of the center tower. The dark V in the center bottom gives the perfect base and screams "Everything in this image starts right here". I'm only new to PSA, but as Tony says, it would be a crime for this image to remain just in our little group. Tuhin, this image really does deserve to be sent further up the line. |

Ha Ha, Sherry knows me very well. Yes, a great image that suits the panorama format beautifully. The gent who kindly walked into your image adds to the story really well. Great colors and composition. My only concern is that water line/horizon deserves to be straightened. It must have something to do with us being below the equator, because when we get our horizons crooked, they always slope down from left to right. |

Your main submitted image is great. The use of your national flag really adds emotion. As Tony said, great composition and use of color. Detail in the building and rocks is also great, gives the viewer something to wander around and study in the image. The secondary image is also very good, but very different. Your original is definitely all about the lighthouse, while the one with Sea Roses, to me, is all about the location. |

Hi Tuhin. Yes, a longer exposure would be my preferred choice, but sadly over the last 3 or 4 years, the projections have been moving or flowing along or up & down the buildings, so any attempts at anything much slower than 1/4 of a second just results in a blur of color. The trick here is to just take your time, be prepared to watch the whole cycle on its loop for around 20 minutes and then catch those instances when they stop for just that second before they move off again. |

Thanks Sherry. The water droplets are part of the light display projected onto the Opera House. |

A great story telling image Jorn. Street photography is a great way of capturing and recording the ordinary people, scenes and times happening around us in our time. A way for future generations to look back at us, the way we look back into the early and mid 1900s. Shooting from the hip is a great way to capture people in a relaxed mood. As soon as we raise our camera to our eye, they change. Their posture, facial expression and their general attitude looses that relaxed feeling. This image says and asks so much. From the 3 main people through to the people in the shop in the background. Even the small part of the bicycles gives a hint of activity in this area. A wonderful and colorful image Jorn. Well done. |

Hi Tyler, this image is a good attempt at what can often be a very difficult subject. It's unfortunate that you have not supplied the original image or capture details. I find myself asking was it taken on a camera or a phone? In my opinion the tree lacks sharp focusing, although I have no trouble seeing 3 birds in the top section. The clouds would definitely be improved by having greater tones and textures. This image is definitely worth a re-visit and another try. Providing capture details in future would be beneficial to all. |

Great composition Trey. As Cyndy said, great use of DOF and the tonal range make this an exceptional image in B&W. |

Great job Cyndy. Focusing and the blurred background are first rate. Your post processing is also excellent. You have highlighted the stork's face and feathers beautifully. Well done. |
