In recent years parts of them have been constantly moving, which doesn't make for the best photography, but every now and then they will sit still for a second or 2. The projections are on a loop and restart every 30 or so minutes. |

Thanks David, I love night photography as well. Mentioned that in a camera club I belong to, and now I have to do a presentation on it !!! I really must keep my trap shut. This might be a silly question, but have any of you people heard of or seen an annual event we have over here called Vivid Sydney, where we do strange things to our Opera House? |

Another great image Sherry. You've encouraged me to look again at some images from my own local area, which I will submit in coming months. I love the way the blues and greens work well together. |

This image doesn't need a title Steven, it speaks for itself.
With all the comments above, you have still taken a strong image here. Yes there may be distractions, but there is also a thing called "truth in photography" and as you've said, when you go back at a different time of year when the trees are in bloom and with a slightly different camera position you will get a much improved image. I for one love the gentle gradation from dark to pale blue in the sky. |

This image just defines mood. Rock bottom left gives strong foreground interest and the receding trees and mountains provide strong depth. The overall mist and that in the mountaintops just adds to that depth. My one and only negative comment is about that guy to the left of the foreground rock. Sorry if he's (or she's) a friend, but he/she must really get out of this image. Spot removal in LR or clone tool in PS would do it. |

Everything is working wonderfully in this image David. Composition using the reddish streaks in the sand give a good foreground and the arch/rock provide a strong subject. Clouds in the sky are just right. I also like that yellow triangle formed by the yellow on the sand and the yellow in the sky on both sides. Yes the arch is yellow also, but is very well positioned in the center. And just as an afterthought, this is the first image I've seen that Sherry said she likes when the water wasn't shot at 15 seconds or more. I hope we're still friends Sherry. |

A stunning image Tuhin, and how good is it as a panorama. A great stitching job. 15 secs provides a great image, but have you or anyone else googled or read up on the "600 rule"? I wish I could take a photo like this one. |

The Northern Lights are at the very top of my bucket list. If someone offered me just one location to shoot, without a doubt Fairbanks Alaska would be it, only exception might be the moon, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. No doubt Peter, this is just one of several (hundreds I hope)images you shot that night. Composition is excellent with that curtain straight down the middle, I love the pin point stars, the trees on the right balance the mountains, Alaska Petroleum provides definite location. Well done Peter, as always. |
