I knew that Milwaukee fans would be Green Bay fans, usually. I guess the Packers played somewhere in Milwaukee back in the day...
I ended up ordering the light, and read some comments about it being a pain. But if I can see the drone better, hopefully it helps. |

thanks Lou... better planning will help. I had a small window of extra time. I'll have to plan a trip there and do it right. |

thanks Alex... it was cold! I did photos and when the train came, I did the video. I'll stop again and probably do both. Maybe if I check the train schedule, I can hang out and wait for a 2nd train. But it was too cold and I still had a hour drive home left to go. |

Thanks Don, I was so happy that a train came relatively quickly. I should research the train time table for next time. I'd like to get it with some more green and color and less brown branches. thankful for the snow cover. I have the train pretty much going thru the entire time, but I liked seeing it stretch in to infinity on both sides... |

well, now I'm the last to comment... I need to comment first when I upload the photos! But since it's all been said about the saturation and too much red on the walkway, and the edit on Pete's comment is great...
I'll just say this, I prefer editing in LR than PS. but I try not to do to much to it. And I'm learning how to edit in LR using the edit sky, edit subject masking. That way you can add some saturation the the places you want it and not to the places you don't.
I do like the circular view you had in Richard's comment. But with a better sky, less sky and some more people on the walkway... Could be interesting. I like the symmetry of that view. Since you live near there, there are probably endless possibilities. |

agree with all above. I'm not a morning person, especially at home on my days off. When I'm traveling, I seem to get up early easier.
I did a vertical crop, using Lou's idea... it looks good! Horizontal is usually for landscape and vertical for portraiture... have to get outside that box sometimes. |

thanks for this tip... yes, a ridiculous price for the stand-alone product... I'll keep looking for sales, lol |

Great illusion... never would have realized that was a reflection in the water, it looks like the clouds are just passing thru the space between the trees. I like your edit you posted in Lou's comment. More fall coloring, losing the green. that one branch in the upper left is annoying though, lol. Would like to have seen the original with the leaves floating on the river that you cloned out. Consider sending the original each month, so we can all learn from what you've done. Nice job! |

I would have never associated lava fields with green covering. I agree with Pete's and Drema's suggestion to see some of the fog in the background/distance. Give some depth to where you actually are in the world. Hard to tell from this exactly what or where you are. Not that you have to tell that part of the story. but inquiring minds want to know. |

Beautiful place to drone, hope to get there someday. Great to know that it is edited for PTD, so it looks just like that. Maybe a tighter crop, to really show off the Pinnacles? but I do like the wide version too... |

Hey Don, in PSA, in the 'Reality" divisions: Travel, Journalism, Nature... you are allowed to crop. But you are not allowed to remove or clone out any information. The scene naturally as you saw it. That's a basic explanation. |

I agree with Lou... this has such a great futuristic feeling to it. Feels like a movie still from some space movie. I liked your original 1, so I made this crop and tried to make it less warm and more silver. I like that pool, or whatever is on the left.
I need to get to Milwaukee, need a football team there lol. |

Sorry about that video error Drema! I agree with your note about stopping the drone in place and letting it sit while you catch your breath... I need to do that myself. |

Yes, that's the overlook where people can walk all the way up to, when it is open. There's a little museum and gift shop too. Nice place to stop for train lovers. |

Here's the pano without the trainĂ¢â‚¬¦ actually the train is just coming in the distance. |

I had thought about the pano, but didn't know how it would look with a moving train. I hope to go back. The drone being far away was stressing me out, lol. That's what it's made to do, but I'm still so worried.
I took a couple panos before the train came, but I didn't stick around for another one to show up. I'll have to look up the timetable next time. This wasn't a planned stop, just a bit of time on the way home. |
