Alex, very nice viewpoint to fly over… I like the road, might need Pete's red car here too. |

I had the same thought as Drema… the famous Windows screen. It's a pretty image, might do well to have some action in it, a kid running or something to have a point of interest. |

Looks like a view I would take, and the angle is cool. I agree it needs something to pull your eye too, like a human walking on the human signs… |

Beautiful ShipRock… I think that Shiprock is the foreground element and the mountains rest of the canyon land is the background. It is so large and majestic, I agree with Drema that you need the large expanse of sky to get it room to breathe. |

Such a great cliff view… I would love to see it closer with the water, and more detail in the cliffs. Fun to fly with other drone flyers, I would love to do that sometime. Iceland seems so drone friendly, lol |

Cloning, no… spot healing for camera dust spots, yes. spot healing to remove elements, no. I just send an email with more detailed information. |

I've been doing some work with the PTD Newsletter and there are very strict guidelines for the Reality Divisions of PSA, so I'm paying more attention to what I do to my photos when I'm entering exhibitions. I'm not quite sure, but I think that content-aware fill would not be allowed in the reality divisions. In the Pictorial Divisions, anything goes. Lots to learn… |

Great image Drema… the Red Lighthouse is a perfect subject. I agree that the lighthouse should have some straightening done to it. Also I think getting rid of the white building shouldn't be a big deal, if the photo is just for you or for PIDC type of exhibitions. You couldn't enter this into a reality-based division exhibition because of the AI, so you could take all of those white buildings out!
All depends on what your end goal is… |

Thanks Drema, that is true, I could rotate the photo, that is something that is required in the Image Evaluation course that I am taking thru PSA. Rotate the image 90 degrees and flip it horizontally, helps to see if there are other ways to see your image. Even more ways with a straight-down drone photo like this one.
I like your crop too… although my initial reason for liking the photo was the houses within the trees. |

Thanks Lou, I liked the road myself, and the white car… the red umbrella didn't bother me, but that flat white box roof does. I'm happy with all the comments. To me that means it's an interesting image with potential. I've been having creative difficulties and time difficulties with my drone photography lately and this is encouraging. |

That's a good crop… makes the house look all alone in the forest! |

I tried to add this to the top area, but it's not working for me right now. This is a lower shot, slightly cropped. It didn't have the same interest for me as the neighborhood shot. |
