Nice shot Don, I like the warmth in the sky. I don't think you need the left side, and the bottom right is also distracting to me. The subject would be the lake, so make it more front and center. Maybe like this... or not... lol |

Just a fantastic image Janos... like I said before, I upload the photos and sometimes when I come back to comment, I don't remember seeing this!
The reflection and the perfect wake from the boat... just great. I agree that you could crop down some of the blue sky. That would put the horizon higher in the image, give it a little drama that way too. |

Great fog Lou... I agree with the other comments, don't need the pretty blue part of the sky. I would like a boat in the front of the harbor too, can you add one there? :) |

Great image Pete... and a great article in the Journal. Nice to see your images in print! From Drema's comment, it's a good use of the drone to get this otherwise un-getable image.
I need a trip to Iceland. Almost went a few years ago to see the Northern Lights, but our organizer moved the trip to Alaska, which was still cool, but Iceland is still on the bucket list.
Over water is very scary, in my April 2020 post, I sent my Spark out over a river, at least a mile out, and back, and the battery was beeping at me and my husband in the car was beeping at me, and it was very nerve-wracking. But it came back.
Unlike the time it went into the Augusta canal and didn't come back :(
Or into the river, and I got it out but it never worked again...
Then time for a new drone! :) |

Hey Drema, great image. I love how you really use the panorama stitching feature so well with your photos.
I upload everyone's photos each month, but sometimes I don't remember them when I come to post a comment. I was struck by how cool this photo is.
I like the tree at the bottom. I feel it grounds the image and leads you to follow the trees all the way through the image. The sky doesn't add too much, and if you cut off at the treeline, it gives the idea that the trees go on forever. |
