Mary Ann, great try at compositing, it's not an easy skill to learn. I agree with the others that the watch face is distracting in the composite image, maybe you could delete that somehow. And the line of the fabric in the area of the vase and watch is distracting also. Maybe place the watch higher than that line? Ruth's idea of playing around with different angles will help. Maybe try to superimpose the watch onto the shape of the vase? but don't ask me how! |

Great capture Kieu-Hanh, I agree usually we would want to see his face, but his back with the tattoos is compelling. I like the line of his right leg that leads up thru the photo to the drum and then the arch. |

Beautiful landscape shot Ruth, great to see the white snow on the brown sand dunes. I like the layering of the sky, fog, mountains, dunes, snow and trees on the bottom. Maybe crop in just a bit on the bottom to lose the ground... for me that's an uninteresting layer. |

nice shot Randolph, I love photos of other people taking photos. I like the crop LuAnn did that minimizes the dark area. But I want to see what she is taking a photo of! |

Great detail on the spiderweb, with the scary spider! I never find cool webs like that! The dew is really cool also, perfect timing with him right in the center. Hopefully he isn't as out of focus in your photo. I think the small size the website requires softens the photos on upload. Nicely done. |

Wow, beautiful apple! Sounds like a very labor intensive project from your description. Without reading everyone else's comments... I feel like the spot where you lessened the reflection looks like a soft spot on the apple to me, so it's a little less appealing. I like the reflection. Apples always have some reflection when they are shiny and clean. |

thank you Ruth! I need to go back to get the entire roof... I must have thought I had it, or didn't even pay attention at the time. Ugh! lol |

thank you Mary Ann... I'm glad you felt that you were in Paris. Brightness seems to be the task I'll be working on. |

thanks Luann, I never realized that person was in the frame over there. It's a couple taking wedding shots, and I obviously did not check my borders! I'll try working on those edits. But all of that will limit me from entering this photo into Photo Travel. |

thanks Randolph, I agree, some of those reflections in the water could come down in brightness. |

thank you Kieu-Hanh, I would prefer that I had got the entire top of the Louvre in it as well. Maybe next time I get back there I'll try again. |

Very interesting perspective, hope you had fun with it. It does look cool, but my sensibilities know that the Louvre museum is missing, so it feels wrong to me. But well done on the color and black and white version. Very futuristic. |

Hey Lou... I was hoping to buy the Mavic 2 Pro, but it isn't in stock anymore, probably going to be discontinued. It's not silly... I'd like to get the new Mavic 3, but I'd be afraid to use it and lose it! I may get the DJI Air 2S... it's also about half the price of the Mavic 3... we'll see how good Santa is going to be to me this year lol. |

Hi Lou, the pain is real lol. Funny that if I didn't like the graffiti on the left side, maybe I wouldn't have crashed the drone! Which drone did you sell for parts? Do you have a working drone now? I'm still deciding on which one to get...hope to decide soon! |

I'll take that as a compliment, that you thought it was a non-drone image. It was just high enough to get closer to the line of trees over the water. If I had a ladder, I may have been able to get to that height. I haven't looked at the details of the shot yet. Hope I'll be able to get all that info.
Mavic 3? or Mavic Air? or Mavic mini? lol |

Hi Ron! thanks for visiting our group! I didn't see your comment on the video on YouTube, but thanks for watching it. I'm just amazed that it kept recording the entire time. Don't be discouraged from buying a drone, when it works, it's a lot of fun. The accident was totally my fault, lots to learn and remember and pay attention to. Hope to see you here again next month! |

Thanks Bob. I wish there was fish or something in the video lol. I haven't decided what to do with the Spark. I guess it's time for a new one... but can't decide which one to get. I assume by your wall-worthy comment that you listened to that podcast I emailed to everyone? Any other comments on that? |

Nice idea of getting the snaking paths thru the park. I agree that there is too much sky, and to that end, would like to see the angle more down on the paths. And again, your photo still feels dark to me, even though I can tell by your original that it is brighter and the shadow areas are opened up. |

I like this image, it has a lot of shapes, lines and angles that are interesting. But since it is vendor booths, I feel like I need to see the people who are going to frequent this area. And of course, I would love to see it all squared off in my style of shooting. |

Great image Bob, love the curve of the river and the great colors. I really wish that cropping of trees in the center wasn't right in the center. Maybe just offset just a bit. To me, it draws my eye down and out of the frame. |
