3 Oct 21 Comment love that you took this thru your window... so much detail really adds to the story. I like the crop losing the tree on the left... but I like the 2 trees on the right. Bird photos seem to do well as verticals. Nice job! Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Comment Great abstract image of these colorful gourds. Perfect for the current season. I love top down views and you can play around with the angles to whatever looks good to you! Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Comment Beautiful flamingoes, nice capture. The pastel coloring is fantastic and the reflection of the birds is the key. Definitely like the closer crop but I also enjoy all the lines in the background... Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Comment very pretty flower, I do like LuAnn's edit removing the brown leaves in bottom left. I would like to see the flowers against all black, or more out of focus greens. Nice job though Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Comment Very interesting and creative image. PSA has a PID Individual Creative competition, due date is November 1st. It's free, and an easy way to see how your photo responds to competition. Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Comment Very nice church and the sky replacement looks good. If you are doing it for artistic purposes, then it's not a problem. But for PSA competitions or National Geographic type stories, then it's a problem. I agree getting the lighting correct is a challenge when the sky is photographed at a different time and place. I think the church may not need the trees framing it since you have replaced the sky. For me, it's such a narrow sliver of frame, I would like to see the church stand alone in that sky. Good exercise! Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Reply thank you LuAnn, much appreciated. The feeling of falling was real in the moment also. Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Reply I think I needed to put a warning on the photo with all the vertigo comments! glad you liked it! Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Reply thank you Mary Ann! Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Reply thank you Kieu-Hanh! I agree the person on the right challenges your mind to which way that escalator is going. I got lucky that not many other people were there, except for those bunched up on the bottom. I may have stepped backwards up the escalator to get some distance from them also. Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Reply thank you Michael! Oct 27th
3 Oct 21 Reply thanks Isaac, you are correct, no preplanning, just happened upon the scene. The tension I felt on the stairs seems to have translated to everyone here. I like your straightening also, thank you!

85 Oct 21 Comment Nice capture Don, I do think it is dark also. Not hard to work on that. I like the angle of the moutain, the eye wants to follow that ridge into the sea. The little extra mountain in the top left is distracting and pulls the eye away from the ocean a bit. Oct 27th
85 Oct 21 Comment Nice image, great cloning... adds to the feel of the loneliness of the scene. I like the car, it adds to it. The entire area around the barn feels busy, but cleaned up... what we in Pittsburgh would say "redd up." The grounds look like it is not used a lot anymore, but it hasn't been left abandoned. Oct 27th
85 Oct 21 Comment Very desolate image... I would like to see it at a lower height, get more detail in the buildings and the land... if there are more details to be got. Oct 27th
85 Oct 21 Comment News on the drone... My husband fixed it after the crash. He was able to super glue the broken arm back together and I flew it again a few times... then on Monday... another crash... maybe I'm not supposed to fly this drone lol. Oct 27th
85 Oct 21 Reply Thanks Lou... I'll have to play around with more of those images from that trip... Oct 27th
85 Oct 21 Reply Thanks Don, I agree I like the blues and greens, extremely bright in the islands. Oct 27th
85 Oct 21 Reply thanks Bob, I agree, it is a busy photo. maybe if I angle it a different way, it would work better. If the horizontal line along the water was straighter... my usual way of aligning things.
