Thanks LuAnn, I'm sure she was aware of me, and probably didn't care. She has an almost perfect look, I'm sure she must be noticed a lot.
I'd like to get more of the red into the crop, but it is a weird crop. I had it framed for an group exhibit coming up next week. Hope it gets some good comments.
Attached is the new crop, if anyone has a comment about adding the red, if it works better or not. |

Thanks Ruth, the Olympics were a great time. Even with the quarantine and limited places we could go, we managed to enjoy ourselves at work and out and about. I hope to be able to get back to Tokyo under normal circumstances, there was so much I wanted to do and see! |

Thanks Kieu-Hanh, most of the people I saw were in modern clothing… I only saw a few people in kimonos while I was out and about, and no good photos of that. "Homophobia" is great, I hadn't heard that word before, but it was prevalent in Japan, as it is here too. I would like to be able to see the entire right eye of the Rock, but I was shooting on the run, I did come to a full stop in front of her (after kind of circling her on the side). So I didn't want to be too invasive, and I'm sure she was aware of me. She was standing back from the main sidewalk, to be out of the pedestrians way.

Beautiful butterfly (and I love the info about telling the difference between a butterfly and a moth). I agree with photoshopping out the twigs and I like the flip that you did in your edit too. So many ways to go with this photo. |

Love this flower! It's so difficult (for me) to get great views of bees, and you have 2! And the edit bringing down the whites is great. Nice job! |

Very pretty flowers, the edit does indeed look very painterly… my only comment would be to do some weeding of the flowers, that wheat branch is a touch distracting, but not a lot. Nice job! |

Love the soap bubble… without reading the label or any of the comments, I was thinking it was a super colorful bowling ball. I like the rounding of the image in Original 2… very cool idea and great fun to try. |

Thanks for your nice comments Michael. It is hard to get candid shots on the street, the people always seem to see me. This woman did not, or didn't care.

Very nice view of the trees and the cliff. I like the low altitude, and I would like to see it with the drone out over the water shooting back at the cliffs… with the low perspective, but how did you get that shot out there? |

Great subject… I like Lou's idea of seeing the horses in the front of the sculpture with only sky or water behind them. A bit abstract. Hopefully I can get a trip out near Seattle sometime to find this sculpture. Nice capture! |
