Beautiful photo, the flowers are so pretty... maybe just me, but the flowers being cut off by the crop of the frame is bothersome... maybe I just want to see a horizontal version with both vases and flowers fully inside the frame. Probably just me... |

Beautiful photo Ruth! I love Sedona, and can't wait to be able to visit there again. I like the vertical shot and it really shows the feeling of depth in the river. Your edit is well done and I appreciate how hard it is to get more light on the left had side. My only nitpick the the rock on the left border.... just a bit distracting. but that's probably just me. |

Thanks Ruth, I'll have to go back and see if I have another photo of her with more details. This was the original dimensions, I hadn't cropped it. It was a very memorable show. |

Very helpful information, I won't be using this photo in a photo travel competition. But liked it as a portrait, especially since she was in focus. I have trouble with focusing in a lot of my photos. But I suppose this won't work in a competition of women/portraits either. |

Thanks Bev, and again, it's so funny to me that the amount of decoration on her face has been brought up a few times. I actually thought the lack of a fully made-up face gave her a more realistic look. I thought her face was calm, yet full of mystery... haunting is a good word.

Thank you, but what did you mean by scarily painted? I don't think any of the people in the cultural show were scary. I liked this woman's calm visage, while she was waiting for her part of the show, and the smoke gave her some mystery, in my opinion. |

Thanks Mary Ann... no I didn't do a lot of editing to this, just the basic camera info in LR. Both you and Michael commented on the smoke being too bright, I'll try that edit. |

I only have info that I read on the FAA Drone Zone website... I'm going to try to take that new test for Recreational Flyers to learn more about those new rules. |

I think you are allowed those edits in the Color and Mono categories, but not in Photojournalism, Nature or Photo Travel. I've been entering a bunch of the exhibitions to get my QPSA and the rules are quite strict in those last 3 categories. |

Nice night photo, does your drone have the night feature that the FAA requires? My drone is too old, so I need to get a new one!
I think because you did a lot of work to limit the noise, the rest of the photo seems a little "muddy" to me. Might have to bring some noise back in to get some detail? |

Nice image... I like the crop for the 2 boats... and the movement of the dinghy closer to the sailboat looks great. Maybe clone out those two buoys or whatever they are in the water, slightly distracting, to me. |

Nice capture Robert, feels like one of mine! Houses have the same feel from about but such differences in driveways and back yards. Do all driveways lead to a gravel road? no sidewalk or lane markings? |
