Mary Ann.. I agree with Ruth and everyone... LuAnn's edit eliminates the distractions. Pretty flowers... and if anyone figures out the magic formula for competitions, let me know! |

Nice travel image Ruth... if you crop the right side, you have a tighter compostion, you lose a bit of the width of the river, but the reeds on the boats are more prominent. It's unclear what the people on the right side are doing. I just did a little dehaze on your original image and cropped it. Still would have been nice to see those boats separated from the left bank, but of course on a moving boat, that is difficult. |

Great capture, I also like the uncropped version to understand how far it fell. Journalistically, you can't clean up the black around the tree, but artistically, that might look better as green grass. |

Beautiful... it looks like a painting, and the bird is so crisp and the eye is so clear. The post processing is well done... what was the class on Digital Art that you took thru your club? Our club has used some of the PSA offerings for classes. |

Thanks LuAnn, yes I agree the yellow is a lot oversaturated... I didn't notice it on my export, but it stands out well against this black background. Here's my attempt to tone it down. It is a Sony RAW file, but it was hard for me to control the colors I wanted in it. |

I really like the crop and the sky replacement. Did you use your own sky or one of the PS supplied skies. I think that if you are entering photos into competitions that you need to use your own sky.
I wonder why the altitude registered that way. I never trust my return to home command. The one time I used it, the drone flew away and landed on top of a building, so now I'm scared. |

This poor house! Looks like the trees are growing thru the house also. The black and white looks great. Glad that Phantom #7 is still flying. |

Hi Don,
I added my original shot above. I believe I was just under 400 feet, as high as I could go to just fit it in. Once I straightened it, I lost some of the sides. Have to get better at doing that in-camera. And I'd like to go back sometime when there is some better color. Thanks!
