3 Feb 21 Comment I like the B&W look, cut off the left side, and lose the windmills. They are not attractive. But I do like the right barn right up against the frame... makes me feel the scene going further into the right. Feb 28th
3 Feb 21 Comment Beautiful garden shot... I think the comments to have shot it straight-on are spot-on. I keep trying to turn the computer to get that angle. And maybe replace the sky with something more blue... it is a bit distracting Feb 28th

3 Feb 21 Comment What a great perspective, and I agree the vertical works really well for this scene. Maybe just a little more light and detail on the big rock. It's amazing how small those people look in that scene. Very cool Feb 28th
3 Feb 21 Comment Bird photography is one of the hardest things for me to do... I guess I need more patience and time to wait... you did a great job, beautiful stance for the bird. Nice Feb 28th
3 Feb 21 Comment Another painting still life! Nicely done Feb 28th
3 Feb 21 Comment Great painting! Amazing texturing... nice job Feb 28th
3 Feb 21 Reply Thank you Kieu-Hanh, but I loved the bench first... Michael's composition is great, if I were attracted only to the flowers. Feb 28th
3 Feb 21 Reply You are correct, the balance is off... if I were to take that one again, I might have changed my angle to get the flowers closer to the bench. The bench for me was the key. Feb 28th
3 Feb 21 Reply Thank you Randolph, I think you got it. Feb 28th
3 Feb 21 Reply Yes, big rock, couldn't move it or figure out what to do with it, lol Feb 28th
3 Feb 21 Comment Thank you everyone, lots of good comments.... I think Randolph got it right... I was appreciating the bench and the flowers, more so the geometry of the bench with the flowers sticking out of it. I was definitely not attracted to only the flowers. Feb 28th
3 Feb 21 Comment thanks Michael, I agree... I would have liked the flowers to be closer to the bench. The bench is what attracted me in the first place, I gravitate towards geometric lines... and I like purple flowers, even though I never know what they are called.
I never even noticed the diagonal Cana leaf as being so distracting until now.
I don't see the bench in your edit, and the flowers are pretty enough to stand on their own.

85 Feb 21 Comment Great shot Lou! Great atmosphere... I look for that all the time! Great find. I agree with Don is wanting a darker sky... if only to have the smoke stand out more. Nice job Feb 28th
85 Feb 21 Comment Thanks guys... digging thru the archives for this shot. Glad you liked it. Feb 28th
