It's a great image nonetheless... I was at a similar ruins in New Mexico, but we were allowed to climb a very very very tall ladder to get into them. Looking back, I can't believe I did it! So scary. |

Hi Mary Ann, great shot! I love the leading lines into the city, the black and white conversion is great. I think I would like a tighter crop into the city, and maybe some more contrast. But just my preference, your photo is great. |

Very inviting, I want to walk up those stairs and take a walk thru there. I agree that the sky needs to be darkened or replaced somehow, it is distracting. |

Great image Ruth. I like the Black and White conversion. It would be nice to have a person or animal to give the ruins some scale. Like Michael said, it looks like a diorama at first, Not sure if tourists are allowed to roam around in there. |

Beautiful, strange-looking lily, great colors. I agree with the others, eliminate the green diagonal and green spot. Looks great on the black background. |

Hi Michael, welcome to the group! This is a great image, and I agree with Kieu-Hanh, to keep the background of Original 1. But I do like the white vignetting. He has such a great look. The story makes me so sad, I would be the person holding up the bus so that I could buy one of his brooms! |

Great fall capture LuAnn... I love the colors, the diagonal. Keep the dark spots on the leaf, it gives the leaf depth. I would like the green lines to be darkened, they are just distracting enough to the fall colors. |

Thank you MIchael! I went back and looked at the original photo, and there are no reflections from the bridge supports. Maybe from the low angle where I was set up, the bridge reflections couldn't be seen. I'll have to look for that on my next drive thru there and see what I can find.
I'm not super proficient in PS, but I'm sure there is a way to add in reflections. But the right side doesn't bother me, my focus was on the tower lights. |

Thanks for stopping by our group Beverly! I'm fascinated with this bridge, and I keep taking photos of it from all kinds of angles. And I've walked on it a few times... I don't remember the original Tappan Zee bridge, but I think this is a nice replacement. |

It may have been conduit. The playground was near a school building. I didn't even notice that was there. |

Thanks guys, I do try to find different abstracts. Glad you liked this one. I did do a crop to crop off the white concrete... I need to learn to crop more in-camera too.
Also Don, I think the height is about 65 feet above the playground. I have to figure out how to find the exact height for that photo. |
