Nice establishing shot, what it would be called in a movie or TV show. Gives a great overview of where you were. I agree that it would work great in a photo essay. And Luann's crop is nice, gives your eye a way to move thru the town, up the road. 		Mar 18th

I ordered the print from Bay Photo, I think I sold the glossy photo. Also the person that bought it was from Paris, so it probably was a sentimental choice.		 Mar 18th

85 Mar 20 Comment I love this image Lou. The colors are fantastic, reminds me of a fine-art oil painting. I like the perspective, high enough that you know it's a drone shot, but still straight on enough that the buildings and the bridge aren't distorted. I would print and frame this one. Mar 18th
85 Mar 20 Comment Thanks Lou. You're right, if in the original, that big white splotch wasn't there, it may have worked better. I'm not sure that I was allowed to fly the drone in a downtown space, but since it was winter and hardly anyone was around, it was safer.

85 Mar 20 Comment Abandoned places are one of my favorite subjects too. Sad that there are so many of them in our world. But good for photos! I agree with Lou that I would like to see more room to the top and left. And I like your idea of high-key B/W. The building has good contrast, but the yard and grasses could use some more. Nicely done. Mar 18th
