Very nice Martin. The photo grabbed my attention from the thumbnails view, and then once I saw what you did with it from the original. Wow. I agree with all the other comments here. Wow |

I love that aquarium! Wonderful blues and the silhouettes show the enthralled crowd without being distracting to the fishes... nice! |

So cute! They are adorable and you can feel the love they have for you too. They are focused and smiling and playful. Very nice capture. |

Beautiful bird... great capture handheld... love the blue background. Almost all of our photos this month have a strong blue feeling. |

Very nice image. I like how the grey of the moon complements the grey of the house. The geometry of the lines of the porch and the circle of the moon work well together. |

Great image Jim. I prefer the horses' heads down.... although you can't see their eyes as well as the heads up version, I like that they seem more relaxed in the that beautiful environment, with no outside distractions. They are closer to each other, so the arrangement is better that way too, as Ruth said. Maybe crop some of the sky and the field too... or not... lol

Thanks Ruth, the student poetry is great. Really give me a feeling of accomplishment that others saw in this composition something interesting too. The dark circle gets a lot of comments. It is half out and half reflection. It is the sprinkler head and I don't think I could edit it out if I wanted too. The pumpkins are reflections too. |

It is a mind-twister, Randolph. Even I get confused on how I took this shot lol. The dark circle, which of course half is reflection, is the sprinkler head. I'll have to go back when it's on and see how it looks. And I don't believe those are stacked bottles on the lower right, just reflections of leaves on the bushes closer to the water.
I could post a different shot of the entire scene, but that might ruin the illusion, lol. |

Hi Isaac, thanks for your comment! Yes, the eloquence of the young girls words really amazed me, she really touched my heart by seeing something in my photo that even I didn't realize could be there. |

How do they mark the top of the bricks? |

Great image and great story. I am especially fond of the top down look. The stacked bricks on the bottom, the way the people are situated, the colors. This would make a great Photojournalism entry. Really nice job Dao! |

Great image Lou. I like both versions, but I think I prefer the color. I love the richness of the blues and greens. Really helps the grave plots stand out, and there is such a haphazardness to how they are all laid out. Whatever the green is in the windows is interesting. I do like the color better. |

Great image... gives me the willies though... feels like it might be from a scary movie, which I think is a compliment, lol. You find a lot with your exploration flights. Definitely go back another time to see the differences. |

I saw this painting in a hospital just recently... reminded me of what I may have been trying to accomplish with this photo... Maybe if I crop in more, dodge the shadows like Bob said... I'll keep working it. Thanks everyone!
