I posted another angle, but it isn't a great shot... maybe I'll try to clean it up. But it gives perspective where it was on the Great Wall

I posted another shot, which is a bad shot, but it shows the architecture of the wall... |

and here is another shot of the same area... to show the base of the wall and where the gargoyles were... not a good shot at all, just to show where I was. Like I said, I need to go back! |

Thank you Marion, and I agree that the red and yellow ball caps are distracting... I will work on cloning those out... |

Thanks Randolph, I purposely blurred the part of the wall on the right to be less distracting to the subject of the photo, which are the cute little guys on the left. But leaving the right side in focus enough to know where the photo was taken, and give a sense of place.

Hi! Great! It feels to me like a really long meandering path and feels like I'm on the bridge on the way! Cool! Hope you enjoy the group. I'm pretty new here too, and the comments are always nice and helpful. |

Great portrait of the woman and the llama. Hard to get great portraits of animals. Love the llama's earring. Well done. Can't wait to see more from the trip! |

Beautiful... great shot, great light. I like the light on his left side. And it looks like the tree beside his painting is part of his painting. |

Hi Marion!
Welcome to the group! I love this photo.... such a great view... I love how the light is so warm and bright at the far end of the path... I love the bridge and the fence. I'm wondering if you could crop to the edge of the fence, or if you are there again, take the photo with the edge of the fence at the frame... so that it would look like the fence is extending further back than it is. Just a thought... doesn't take away from the great composition you have now!
