3 Sep 18 Comment Both photos are great. I agree with Ruth, the center petal needs some light and detail. But I do like the subtle lighting on the stem, and the blackness on the left of it. Nice job. Sep 13th
3 Sep 18 Comment It has a great defiant feel, with the hands on the hips and the dramatic clouds and the long expanse of pier. I think it's great. But... since you are good with photoshop, maybe don't include the trees and the other things on the horizon? Have him looking out into a vast expanse of water and clouds, not knowing what is on the other side? Sep 13th
3 Sep 18 Comment I've seen photos of other umbrella displays in other places, but have never been able to see one in person. I like the ideas that everyone had above, cropping right above the sign and including the red and black umbrellas.
But I also love the colors in Umbrella sky and the abstractness of it. The only thing I would mention is fill the hole on the right with another umbrella. But I do like just the umbrellas. They look as if they could be floating in the sky, not moored to a display.		 Sep 13th
3 Sep 18 Comment Wow, great job! I am so intrigued by hummingbird shots... I need to get a feeder lol. I love how the little feet are getting ready to land, the capture is very crisp. You wouldn't know there were other birds fighting for the food. This little one seems to have it all to itself. Nicely done. Sep 13th
