I don't think it needs cropping. Doing so would lose it's sense of place. Bev's treatment to brighten up the face was exactly what I was thinking. Maybe a little vignette to darken the negative space. |

By now I think we all know the story here. Look forward to future work, Hildi. |

Maybe a little vignette to bring your eyes to the people in center. Otherwise, great shot. |

Great shot. Good street photo. I would feather the vignette a bit though, especially on the left side. Tad too dark and, for me anyway, is having the opposite effect and pulling my eye toward it. |

I love the image. The sky though bothers me a little. Not sure why. |

Sorry for the lack of a before image. I've added it below. As for the filters I used on my iPhone 7 Plus: First I ran it through Lightroom Mobile to clean up the usual suspects (color, tone, sharpness, etc) and to crop and burn the spectators in the background. Then I put it through an app called Prisma (don't recall which filter in it I used). Finally I used an app called Distressed FX to give it a textured distressed look and to add the birds. Was a quick shot at the picture while I was on the road last month. Now that I have replaced my borked Windows machine with a brand new 27" iMac I will be creating better images without pulling my hair out in the process.
Oh, and Margaret, Ren is short for renaissance. Was a faire where geeks deck themselves out in medieval garb. I got to smack one of them in the head (he was wearing a helmet) with a wooden sword. Was fun. :)
