I like your processing and think this is a fine image. I agree with Bob about possibly darkening out the bottom, right side area under the book. |

Hello All and thank you Bob:
I use Lightroom and very little Photoshop, but I tried Bob's idea of the Transform tool in PS and straightened the image a little bit and cropped a bit off both sides resulting in this "final" image.........I think it's much better than my original post.
Thanks again to everybody!

Thanks Bob,
I did not shoot this window straight on, so it has that "tilt". When processing, I used the Horizontal slider to make the metal frames even with the horizon, thus forcing the bottom sill to be crooked. What do you recommend in a case such as this?

Albert,
Great scene with subtle processing to bring out the details. I wonder if there are any details in the islands in the foreground?
Love the far mountains and the sky. |

Nice one Jose,
Love the cropping to give an almost abstract feeling. I'd probably make a version with the colors really pushed to give more "pop".

Thanks Albert,
There were windows on all sides of this old building. I believe the bright area is the sun from the opposite side of the building, but I'll give your approach a try.

Welcome Guy,
Having owned and shown horses, I know how difficult it is to get the to pose. I like the out-of-focus background. Bob will have some good technical advice, but maybe a small crop of the left side and maybe remove the one part of the mane that is hanging by itself. |

Belinda,
Very nice subject and solid processing.
My only suggestion would be to crop the foreground a bit and crop off the tree trunk on left. That might bring the stairs a little "closer" |

Bob,
This HDR treatment is great! I enjoy the detail it brings out and the resulting image looks like it should be in a "coffee table book". Considering the ISO and being handheld, it is a notable result.
It reminds me that I need to try some HDR in the near future. |
