Thanks, Victor. You're right about the crop and the sponge. I cropped up from the right a little and slightly desaturated the sponge, which eliminated both distractions.
Thanks again. |

When I look at this photo I see a young woman, probably a waitress, doing something and I don't know what. There is nothing here that make me want to say "wow." Her right hand (camera left) is hidden by the flowers. Maybe there's something going on there but I can't tell.
You say the background blur is "motion blur" but there's nothing in the background that should be moving and she is seemingly not moving either so the blur is confusing to me.
It seems that your PP is really good. |

Personally I would like to have seen something in the photo that catches and holds my attention. Maybe if you had followed them and waited until they had a customer or something else that might create a decisive moment. As this photo stands, it really doesn't do anything for me. |

I also think this is a great street story.
When I first looked at it, I had the same suggestions as Bev and I think her edits help. |

Ya know, normally I might say "what the h--- is that" to the vignetting but I like it in this image. It's way different and so is your character.
I might suggest dodging in a little on her face and adding some saturation to her skirt. Otherwise, I find this intriguing. |

From an interest point of view (not a legal point of view or an "it is or is not street photography" point of view), as it relates to street photography, simply photoing wall art or a statue or any other art created by someone else is just plain boring to me.* If there was another interesting element in the photo that was not permanently related to the street art, the photo might be more interesting to me because of that element. I'm also not enamored with the composition. I think the white fence in the foreground is very distracting because it blocks some of the wall art in the background.
Technically, I think you nailed exposure and focus.
*If the intent is to document the wall art, which my friends and I do here in my hometown, that's a different story. Our intent is preserve the art for posterity before Mother Nature erases it.
I'm looking forward to the Bulletin Board discussion. |

I think this is a really nice street portrait. I love the expression on her face. The colors are intriguing too. The red and green complementary scheme together with the bright yellow of her jacket offset by her blonde hair are an amazing feast for my eyes.
You nailed exposure and focus. I love the DOF falling off behind her.
Great shot and excellent PP |
