Thanks all for your comments. Yeah, it's a little too green. I should have sensed that. |

Thanks Don, the cropped photo does tell a different story. I disagree that my crop is "lifeless" and I think the reflection in the water adds depth and dimension to the photo. I purposely centered the animal in the photo because I think the rule of thirds doesn't work here. But hey, we're here to get others opinions and I appreciate yours. |

Hi Charlie. I like the story you're telling here. The exposure looks spot on to me.
I agree with Don about using a tripod or increasing the shutter speed. Also, you could brace yourself against a tree or something to get more stability.
To me the wide path coming straight up the middle is not exciting and there is too much uninteresting space on top. In the attached file, I cropped the photo so the path travels from left to right in the photo and eliminates some of the top. I think it gives the photo additional tension, which is something I like. I've also eliminated signs on both sides that were distracting to me. What do you think of the changes? |

The photo looks to be in sharp focus throughout to me, which I generally like in a landscape.
I don't see a lot of fall colors in this photo so I'm left wondering what story you're trying to tell. I see little detail in the dark right foreground. I think it might be better if the shadows were opened up to show detail or the right side was cropped to eliminate it. |

The way the railings form converging lines draws me into the photo from foreground to background like I was walking along the bridge. The foreground elements look very sharp to me. I think the contrast in the clouds also adds dimension to the photo. Luminar has become part of my workflow. I love what the filers can do.
To me the depth of field falls off too soon and the last third of the bridge looks soft to me. I think the photo might have more appeal appeal to me if the entire bridge were in sharp focus. |

At the local zoo one morning I was waiting for the animal to mosey on down to the water. I like the symmetry of the horns.

To me the photo is sharp where I think it counts, on the front of the horse's face. The contrast between the white marking on the nose and brown hair is pleasing to me. I think the textured layer was done very well and it provides an interesting separation of the horse from the background.
The thing sticking out of the left side of the horse's neck is distracting to me. |

To me this photo tells a warm story of a young child having a private moment with his mom. I like the silhouette effect against the water and how the tree frames the main subjects. |

When I look at the photo I see a wonderful story of a young person having a blast in the ocean. It makes me feel good. I like the contrast of what I see as action expression on the kid's face and what I see as the frozen action of the water. I see the image as being sharp throughout.
To me the water looks unrealistically green and it's distracting to me. |
