The color is great and I like the diagonal composition. To take Don's comment even further, I'd like to see how it would look with much more of the boards to give the flower more context. |

Thanks, Vince. I appreciate your insights. I've added contrast by using Aurora HDR and made the crops. I think it's a stronger image. Thanks again! |

Nice concept, I love doing a mirror effect.
The high ISO contributed to the noise problem and overexposing the original. You could have dropped the ISO by about 4 stops to say 400, or even 5 stops to 200, reduced your shutter speed by 2 or 3 stops to say 1/400 or 1/250 and possibly closed down the aperture by a stop or two to f11 or f16 to get more depth of field. It's a balancing act but it's worth experimenting.

Very nice. My favorite tool in LR is the adjustment brush, which allows you to use the sliders to make adjustments to selected areas. For example, you could paint on the blue and orange leaves and add vibrance, etc. just to those elements to make them pop even more. |

Don't be afraid of manual settings. You don't say what aperture the P mode set for you but it seems to be providing too much depth of field (for my taste). Switch to manual and use a wide aperture to narrow the depth of field which would allow you to put focus on the flower and blur out the leaves in the background. |

I'm wondering how this would look if you moved to your right and used the boardwalk as converging lines leading to the sun. It might be a stronger composition. |

Beautiful composition that captures the heirloom quality of the pot and cup. I like the reflections off the table, gives the photo depth. Try playing with the direction of the light source coming from different angles to see how that changes the photo. |
