This is our month of Grand Scenes for sure! I loved visit SF and always made sure I had time visit the Park and cross the bridge. Was this taken at dusk? The lights of the area sparkle and draw your eye into the image. Then make you examine the image in detail. Very nice! Hoping the fires have not impacted you.....Stay safe! |

Peter, very beautiful image!!!! Love the scene and the fall colors. I understand Stephen's comment about the leaves...and believe that regardless of which way it is offered, it is an artistic choice. Like Stephen I probably would have eliminated the top flowers, but then I really look and find the more artistic version you present has much to be admired. I think I would like them either way. I love the way you framed it and think ti perfectly embodies your title. Nicely done Peter! |

Incredible pano that must have taken a fair amount of work. I almost think I'm on a plane looking down on the city.....it really is a special view.
For others that are commenting....please know that this image had to be reduced in size considerably and artifacts in the sky are a result of serious downsizing in order to load onto the website. Sorry Dave!! |

Saguaro Nation Park is a very popular spot for photographers, I ve been there many years ago, and while very beautiful, I was always partial to the red rocks of Sedona so when went to AZ we headed north.
I had never considered the impact of capturing the Milky Way.....so thanks for the idea! This is quite stunning and with minimal light polution your stars show up nicely.I like your crop, it removes that small mound and still have the entirety of the Milky Way.

A beautiful image Leslie . The tree is perfectly placed in the image and I always wondered how trees can survive growing on rocks. I first saw this phenomenon in AZ. I love the lighting, the layers, and the starkness of the area. ! Beautiful image. |

Judy, we lived in MD for 7 years. My favorite "city" of all our many locations over the years!! We lived in Catonsville. One of my favorite places to go and photograph was Annapolis. Of course the eastern shore was lovely too, but Annapolis was unique and diverse. Old town, Chesapeake Bay bridge, beach, and ambiance was special!! |

Stunning Magnolia blossom. I lived in Memphis for 7 years , until I returned to East Coast (Maryland) and Magnolias are beautiful flowers.....but the smell of them is overwhelming , particularly when they line every street. I always told my husband they are one of those trees that I would not "grow" in my yard, but gladly taker many photographs of them and display them in my home (which I did). But they are an institution in that city!
As for your image.......gorgeous !hose dark leaves as a backdrop to that white pristine flower can not be overlooked! Great image! |

I very much like the beauty of this image, even if it is an abstract...and totally agree with Judy...would make an incredible large image hung on a dominant wall! |

I agree with Leslie.....I really love the "original" image .....it just shouts leaf peeping....which we do not get here in Florida ....just Hurricanes :-( ! But your submission ...you do capture the smooth water nicely and balance the sky with the dark water fall area. It is technically nicely done.....I just love the brilliance of the fall colors in the "original" . |

Don't disagree with you...but this particular guy was only seen once ......and while I could catch a few shots of him on different spots at that location...but all were stationary. I just couldn't not get this one with those colors. So I take what I can get! |
