And I was taking it from a slight angle, to avoid somethingâ¬can't remember exactly what but since we were at our motel, might have been stray light. But they were not moved side to side. |

Soâ¬.could it be offâ¬..absolutely even though I had a full image with neither of them well focused to use as reference. The thing that I thought was strange and may be what is causing the "discrepancy" is there was far more black space between the moon and water. That is really just because the moon was a little higher in the sky. I'm not well versed in astronomy or physics, but I did not move the camera between shots except slanted the camera down to get the bottom shot and change the settings of course. The one thing that bothered me on this one, was that small black space between the reflection and the lighter area but that was real so I wanted to make sure I included it. So you could be rightâ¬.but I will go back and recheck my merge of the two images. |

Unique concept and very different type of image. More of a "still life" with the landscape as the background. I like it a lot.
I do agree with Butch, I would clone out the extraneous greenery to make the fern stand out more. Nice Job!! |

Beautiful image Peter....I was there in 2018 and loved every minute of my stay. Their countryside is incredible and your image of Kirkjufell outstanding. I know that several of the people in our group gave that image a try .....and after seeing your shot, certainly wish I had tried! I really like it in BNW, I think it makes the image look more rustic, as everything in Iceland tends to be rustic. Gorgeous...and hope you can share some more of your captures in the future! |

So how was the trip to the top......Height (particularly unprotected height) makes me anxious.....? And strong winds ...hmmmm
I happen to love the view though! Really shows off the beautiful Sydney Opera House and gives a view MANY people would not have the guts to try. The city also surprises me, while I knew it was large, guess I did not expect it is a very major city. Australia remains on my bucket list, a trip up the pilon on the bridge does not even come close.
The composition on this image is interesting ....I like that you included the harbour traffic, it shows it is an active area and must surely be a tourism hot spot. The little park behind the Opera House is unique...it the open circle have a meaning....it looks like a Crescent moon. What I like most about the image....it makes me want to pull it up on my large screen and look at the image in the details . Very nice job and Kudos on the climb! I don't think I can be that brave. |

Not sure if this was sunrise or sunset.....but I'm guessing rise. But it is an island so all bets are off! I love the detail in the rocks, the water leading you into the sky and then the beautiful palm trees. The water is crystal clear which is unique in beaches but I also don't see sand, which tells me most likely not a typical beach one thinks about. I am assuming you were on tripod and nice and low to the ground which makes for a great image. Beautiful image.
I like to visit the West Coast of Florida and I get the best of both worlds on Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Easy access to both rise and set. But over past 2 years, since Hurricane Ian, we've missed the opportunity. They are finally returning to normal so hopefully we will get to go next year. Hawaii has never been on my list for photography , and I'd appreciate your thoughts on what opportunities are there. Not so much the obvious....like volcanos and beaches, but other interesting photo ops. |

Exceptionally sharp on the beeâ¬..very surprised you got such a clear image at 1/2000, but you did! Timing was probably just right. I love the detail of the Sunflower. 💠not sure about the full imageâ¬.but if you had a
Title more of the center shot of the flower it might add a little more of the flower, which is also pretty sharp and clear. All in all very nice image of the bee. ðŸ |

What a shameâ¬.a beautiful park, but the casino and golf course are unfortunate. In Florida, we have recently had a proposal to put golf courses in several of our state parks. It got leaked and there was a major backlashâ¬.needless to say the proposal was quickly off the table.
I think what you are trying to show in this image is the impact of over development is real and has impacted this beautiful place. I do agree that you take a lighter camera when the trail is challenging. I'm not aware of the Rebel so I'm not sure if the quality is effective in a panorama of this magnitude. But taking that in consideration I believe it certainly gets your point across. I might consider decreasing the saturation and using some of the capabilities to isolate specific areas and enhance rather than use more global tools. But given all that you still get your point across. And your image certainly shows the ravages of over development. |

Gotta love the eye color and breeding feathers. Great shot! I've found after being here for 7 years and a great many Annihingas later, I only photograph them during breeding season. There is something very special about their beauty. You have captured it well. Congrats! |

I don't believe the Jackal didn't agree to pose for you 😉. What a perfect poseâ¬..! And a beautiful image. Despite 2 trips to Africa we saw only one group of jackals all running away. Lots of hyenas, but they are not nearly as pretty as this Jackal. Congrats! |

Sharp and detailed, and a beautiful shot of the eyes. I've never tried shooting them at f/8. I also like the of the leaf. Great job! |
