Lovely. This month is clearly BIG vistas! I love this image, and now will need to add NM to my list of great places to visit. I very much like the 4 different elements. Your base with the trees and rocky ground, sand dunes, the majestic mountains, and finally the cloudy blue sky. You dragged my eyes through the entire images. Well done John! |

I think the theme this month is immense landscapes. I really like the way the images draws my eyes in. First the big rock in the front right and then I see the smaller mountains that draw me back into the picture and that beautiful green grass and the sky. I like it a great deal.. |

Red Rocks are my favorite type of landscape. And Arizona/Utah my favorite place to visit. We have vacationed there several times and both of us loved it. Our favorite spot is Sedona! This is a magnificent image the depth of the image is great and gives us great views of different monuments in the area.
Nicely done and certainly holds a special place for me since Ive been there! |

Love this huge mountain range! I like all the layers and the sun tinged sky. Is that some snow remaining on the mountains? this took a great deal of work so I would consider printing this as perhaps a triptych. Nicely done! |

I looking at this. I've been to Niagara Falls in the summer and it is beautiful. I assume the falls were not frozen over, which I believe does happen occasionally. The person adds a great deal to this image, drawing your eye into the fog. The one thing I might have considered is removing the top of the one tree. without a base it strikes me as odd.
Very nicely done Dhananjay! Now it get back to my 80 degree day!

Ive seen Howler monkeys in Costa Rico, aren't they the ones that will throw their poop at people in the boats? Sorry the crop did not hold up...when I saw them I took images and ditched them....too far away! They are pretty cute monkeys though, and certainly worthy of images! I think if you don't zoom in at all you get the idea of what they look like! |

New Mexico Pronghorns are way out of my comfort zone.....especially as to color. It is a nice image though and would benefit from some color balance and a little less light. I would give that a try to see how you like it a little darker. |

Great macro, I don't really know that spider, but we have orb weavers all over the place and they are quite a nuisance....but are also colorful. Those legs are incredibly long and just as colorful as the body. Amazing detail in your image.

I see turkey vultures all the time and agree whole hearted with Leslie! They perform a much needed "job". We also have Black Vultures and they intimidate me more than Turkey. They go after live as well as already deceased animals and they like to congregate in large groups which intimidates me a bit.
Now to your image very sharp nice background and the head turned gives a good view of face and wings spread. Only one suggestion , I think you may have used erase to get rid of some distraction on the background and took it a little too close to the face. You shortened her beak a little too mcc. Easy fix! Really nice pose and clear image though!! |

Awesome angle, a hide is the only way you could get that safely! Great detail and cropped perfectly! Fantastic image and great memory!
I've never been to South Africa, I love Kenya and would go back in a heartbeat! Tanzania was OK and my first trip to the continent. Part of it was the first timer and part was the crowded vehicles (2 per row) which was not always ideal if you had an uncooperative row mate! |

Sarita, that is such a darling couple! She looks like she is loving the attention! Beautiful representation of these two. The one suggestion I would have is recrop to get them out of the center. If you use PS you could also remove some of the branches on the right, but that is just icing on the cake. The birds are showing emotion and bird behavior, and they are clear and detailed! very nice job! |

If you wish to send me another I can replace it...or you are right there is always next month. The size requirements do sometimes really distort some images. I checked and this one was 1MB which I would have expected to do OK. Sorry. |
