Totally agree on the high gloss. I have also printed to canvas particularly landscapes and really like those as well. |

Glad you thought it was worth trying. And it really focuses on the beautiful sky and mountains. If there were anything interesting in that foreground water it might be an entirely different thought, but in this case it is reeky the background you are trying to convey.

This is our month for nice water/ sunrise scenes, I kind of like the wind turbines in the shot. At first I thought they were telephone wires and was going to suggest cropping them out, but to me there is something peaceful and mindful about using wind for energy. Colors are very beautiful, nice image! |

Love the composition and the magnificent colors of the sunrise. I think I like the rock there it gives me purchase in the image. It also leads me into the fisherman and boat. The mist gives it an extra special look as well. Beautiful image, Peter! |

What a magnificent rainbow. The colors really draw you in. I don't mind the rocks, but I might consider playing with the crop some to focus more on the colors of the rainbow......not sure how I would do it.....but you're creative with cropping, give it some thought . You would love Iceland there are unbelievable rainbows there and waterfalls galore!!! |

I too love Arches and would certainly go back if we can ever travel again! this is a beautiful spot, though I can't quite place exactly where it is....but Red Rocks are one of my favorite landscape subjects. Beautiful sky and great leading lines. Carol hit the highlights particularly about the shadows giving it depth. Our country has some magnificent scenes for sure! AT first I thought you might want to trim off some of the sky, but as Carol mentions they pull you into the roskd, so I would leave it as is, and perhaps make a nice print out of it! |

Beautiful area and you have captured the scene well. I assume that is the boat wake in the water, I might have made this into a panorama instead of including all the water at the bottom. You still get the wake to lead you into the scenery but your focus is more on the mountains by cropping out some of the water. Just a thought! |

Nice!! It really does make a difference. I learned that trick about two years ago from Matt Kloskowski's training programs he has which if you are interested, are quite good! Another one he showed on a you tube video is to take the crop tool in PS and click at the top bar content aware. Increase the the size and with content aware it will automatically fill in based on the image after you execute with the check mark. Most of the time it really does work. Ill find the video and post the link here. It is easier than content aware fill but sometimes you have to tweak it a little after the fact. |

Sound like it took a great deal of effort too get this shot! Not sure I would have had that kind of patience! and would have been frozen solid by then! Nice and clean shot of the Moose and positioning was great in within the frame. My only thought is I might have added a little space at the bottom to give it the feel of virtual feet. Using content aware you might have been able to add a little space with grass at the bottom to make it look like the feet were hidden in the grass.
Nice job! |

Nice image and three Long Horns together, must have been nice to get more than a lone one. I like the way you cropped this with the space on the right for them to move into as well as showing off the environment. It appears a little soft, but that may be the restriction on size or could be that the back one in particular was not in the same plane. |

Oh my that is a great clear shot of the bear. You can see the detail of his fur and I liked that you included his environment, it adds a great deal to the image. Nicely done! |

Good shot of the gull. I would tone down the Topaz sharpening a tad, it looks a little crunchy and I think the shot is probably pretty clear to begin with. Love the wing shape, and might consider adding some blue to the background or was it a really gray day? Just some thoughts!
Your shutter speed was good and he was certainly pretty close since this was taken at 200mm. |

Totally agree....this might be a good one for sky replacement in PS (if you use it). Itried it and it really does OK you would just have to modify the mask for that small area by his ears. Certainly might take a tad of work but would certainly tone down that white.
The rhino is excellent and that oxpecker is doing his job! this looks like a small one with the horn not full grown, is that correct or is this one that they have intentionally filed down to discourage poachers?
Nice image overall. |

The detail on this Butterfly and the Thistle is magnificent! Beautiful. Your cropping is very pleasing and the line draws you right into the thistle. WOW!!! |
