Great image Debbie, I love it! So peaceful and calm. The Adirondack chairs add the homey touch! The stripes in the lawn from mowing actually give you leading lines into the photo! There is nothing wrong with clean and simple lines. The image is what you saw and represents a beautiful place. I find that refreshing! |

This image is so powerful with the waves taking center stage. Rather remarkable and it certainly tells us why the lighthouse is so far up on the rock cliff! It reminds me of some of the waves in Hawaii that the surfers yern for....not I, since I think they are crazy, me I'd rather document the majestic and powerful nature of the ocean through images than risk my life to defeat it!
Gorgeous!!! |

What a beautiful city and this is a great shot of the waterline. Everything leads me into the bridge .....and eventually the Opera House. This light reflections, the grass, and diagonals lead me in! Beautiful. |

What a wonderful testament to Mother Nature and the will to survive. I love the textures and the surprising green in what was once most likely a real wasteland. What a truly remarkable testament to our earth! WOW is all I can say. This is a very impactful image |

I LOVE smooth water!! An I like this combination even more. It shows the rapid nature of waterfalls while giving me the calm feeling from the smoothness at the end. I love the dynamic nature of the image. I get the best of both worlds. Power and calm at the end. I also love the pool at the top and the reflections in the water above from the moss and rocks. Nicely done!! |

I just love that heart bubble! And the image is is as unique as the heart. Like your leading lines (ice cracks spreading out are a fun way to lead into the horizon) and the sun low on the horizon. I would mute the pink a tad but that is your decision not mine! |

Janos it is usually rainy. I had a friend that went the week before we did and they had one day out of 10 that did not experience rain. We on the other hand had the exact opposite only one rainy day out of ten. But lots of wind, but that goes with the terrain I think. And of course it is an island with lots of weather effects from that! |

I considered soothing the sea, but there was never what I would call calm seas in Iceland (at least while we were there) and the overcast sky tells me the sea is not going to be calm.....but maybe I am overthinking it! |

Beautiful animal and I've seen deer in velvet in person (we used to have a herd in our yard year round) and never seen it captured in an image. It really comes out realistic in the shot. Composition is fantastic with the dear looking to the left so plenty of room for his gaze and it allowed you to keep much of the frame about him! I liked the vignette it really does focus your attention on the face. Nice image! |

This is a fantastic image! I would never have consider switching it up to a B&W but it is remarkable how much it improves clarity of the three birds and makes them stand out. Nice job!!! I love Denoise particularly and when I take to black and white I use Nik Silver Efex, I just don't switch it that often. I think I might have to try! |

These guys can be tough to photograph! They really don't like the limelight. They are cocky and will often take on much more than they can handle. I once saw one try to swallow a small frog for over 1/2 hour and just could not get it down. Didn't stop him from trying though!
This certainly is a typical pose of the Green Heron and great composition. I like it a lot. I might try a little clarity on the image. It looks like there is some "mist" or fog on the image and I sometimes find the clarity slider if use a small amount can improve that.

Love this one. And I'm jealous. I would love to find a waxwing and photograph it....but I've yet to find one of any kind in my travels. One of these days! The bird is sharp and clear, food in its mouth and a twinkle in its eye! The background is not too distracting, but I might consider doing it as a high key photo. Or just have the background all cream colored to highlight the bird and the branches. Might be pretty hard to do.....
But no real concerns this is a gorgeous bird and a very great image! |

Sorry I am late .....in putting in comments, I got my second dose of Vaccine and was under the weather for a few days! but feeling much better now!
Great egrets are so animated when they feel their territory is being over taken. This display catches that action. I do think it would look better with the stick removed and also needs some sharpening. There is some softness in the eye so I took it through Denoise to see if that would help. I'm attaching it below. When I look at the original it doesn't look soft, but the one displayed does. Not sure what to make of it.

Certainly do not like that one...too much dead space and that branch is too distracting...so I tried square and cleaned up the branch. |

Here it is with bird in left 1/3 ...I just didn't like the way the branches were on this one...thought they were distracting and I still had room for where it was looking so I decided to go with that crop. But I get the point, just not sure I like the composition as much. Will have to look at it a while to decide.
